- MarthaReported calls to my server and was given this email address to report calls.
dncconsumerinquiry2@ftc.gov
It was suggested that I post this address so that everyone out there experiencing the same problem also report it and possibly put an end to this. - John R. replies to JimThanks Jim, for the advice on ADT. I'm going to get in touch with them.
These"security" folks first called me a few days ago and I said I wasn't interested. Since then, I have been getting calls between 3 and 4 in the afternoon every day (and one night at about 8:30). I say 'hello' and just hear several electronic beeps. I've filed a complaint at the DNC web site. - Martha replies to JimJust called ADT. They seemed very pleasant and are going to address the problem. Thanks.
- N| 2 repliesjust got one, on my cell on the DNC list, Ben from Hom Security
- Lola| 1 replyToday I got a call from these people, but instead of the usual recorded greeting and the "press 1 to connect to an operator", it was a computer with automated responses. Then the computer voice, which sounds like a real guy (the only way i knew it was a computer is because my own voice was echoing). It asked me for my name, which I said was C**tface McGee. The computer guy said he would have a rep call me back asap.... and they did, three times.
I called my local carrier (Verizon) and explained the situation. The rep at Verizon activated call block on my phone (landline) at no charge to me. He said that I can block as many numbers as I want, so I guess this is what I will be doing from now on. - Bobbie| 2 repliesI've gotten several calls from them but they don't let the phone ring very long before they hang up. I'm on DNC list which appears to be a joke, just as the FCC is. They told me outright that they can't possibly go after every complaint that is filed when I complained on previous situations. They just link you to a form to fill out and that's it. Anyone out there have any better luck with FCC?
- lcl replies to Bobbie| 1 replyThey're right.. just think of the volume of complaints they get every single day. Just fill out the form...that's the way it works. If you've got a better idea, I'm sure the FCC would love to hear it...
- Lola replies to lclactually, i've been through the song and dance with the fcc and my state attorney general. they both tell me there is nothing that can be done because these companies are "spoofing" telephone numbers, and are most likely based out of US Jurisdiction.
- JillThis number keeps calling my daughter's cell phone, which is on the DNC list. She doesn't answer the call so we don't know the company, just know it isn't anyone we know, and they never leave a message. We just want them to stop calling.

- frank deloma| 1 replystop fn calling me
- Annoyed| 2 repliesBeen calling me since the beginning of March - one call a day - and I told them to stop.
- Caller: Security Plus?
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Lola replies to Annoyed| 1 replyThey're never going to stop, sadly. I've been getting calls from these scumbags for over a year now. Usually it's either these people wanting to give me a security system, lower the interest rate on my credit card (i don't have a credit card), and just recently I started getting calls about lowering my car insurance, which is funny because I don't have a car TO insure, lol. The only advice I can give is either don't answer your phone, or invest in a loud whistle or air horn and blow their damn eardrums out :)
- bjlDon't know who this is but it is getting annoying receiving calls from this number

- LA| 3 repliesYou can call them back and press 1 and you will be put on the DNC list.
- TTHave received about 8 of these calls over the past few weeks. I finally answered one, and was offered a free security system. I said I wasn't interested. I got another call a few days later. I answered and told them this was my cell and that they shouldn't call again. Just got two more calls in the past 4 hours. I went to the national Do Not Call registry and reported them. Not obvious that will have any effect...
- Caller: Home Security Systems, or some such

They called me 3 times last Monday. I actually answered the phone, told them I was not interested in their "free security system" and didn't have a yard to post the sign since I rent an apartment. They said "alright thank you for your time" AS I was asking to be removed from their list. Today, a week later, I've received another 3. Again, as I was asking to be removed from their list, he thanked me for my time and hung up. Can not call this number back. How do I get them to stop!?- Caller: Home Security Systems
- Call type: Telemarketer
- JeanCalling repeated. Please stop.
