Keep getting phone calls but silence on the other end of the line.  Why doesn't the phone company put a stop to this?  Caller should be fined.  Hard!

Got a call at 2:30pm PST today. Barely hit the second ring before the call dropped off so I couldn't answer it. From other posts here, sounds like a telemarketer, political message or scammer.

I received 13 calls from this number from 6:24 PM to 7:28 PM on 8-30-10.  Caller ID shows ARRIBA.  I never answered and they didn't leave a message.  I'm on the Do Not Call list, but that doesn't matter b/c the DNC is a farce anyway.  I get telemarketing calls all the time.  It's very annoying.

They've been calling me all day long for the past couple of days on both of my phone numbers.

Received at least 10 times a day for the past few weeks.
I answered once tonight.. a woman's voice.. when I asked who is this.. there was no answer.
Last one was few minutes ago..

For the past week I've been receiving calls from the same # every 10 mins for about 2 - 3 hrs a day. The caller ID says Arriba. THey don't leave a message, they just hang up. I tried to answer a few times so I can tell them to take me of their call list but all I get is a dial tone when I do. I called back once but got a busy signal. I've actually had to turn off my answering machine because all they do is hang up anyway. How can I go about reporting them or is there such a thing?

This number has been calling aprx every 10 - 15 mins, steadily for about 2 hrs at a time, every day for the past week. They do not leave a message so my answering machine is filled w/ hang ups from them. When I do answer, there is usually nothing, only the sound of someone hanging up or a dial tone. I've had to turn off my answering machine, but the constant calls are getting out of control. Can anything be done about them?
