- EricCalled and after I picked up hung up. May be a robot.
- Betty CunninghamHad a call from this number. Hung up when I answered.
- Mike in NC| 1 replyThis is some kind of scam. They called my sons cell phone saying they wanted to renew his magazine subscription and asked for a VISA or Debit Card number. NEVER give out your credit card numbers to someone who calls you !!!
- Ryan in VAJust called and hung up as soon as I picked up. Tried calling back and says inbox is full.
- CKSCAM looking for credit card numbers. Used fake magazine subscription to receive a payment. Told me not to worry about the cost on my bank statement that it is not really being charged.
- SarahThis is some kind of scam, they called asking if I had gotten my "magazines" ok.... they had my address too. I asked what magazines they were and the woman ("Laporshe" was her name) said she didn't know. Asked for my credit card and what bank I use!

- DougSame story here. Lady asked if I got my magazines today. I questioned her arout this a few times and she kept repeating the same crap such as "well, this could've been from 5 years ago..." and "I have good news, we're sending you new magazines!" Then she tried to make small talk with me. Asked me how the weather was here and told me it was nice where she was (Florida). Eventually I got fed up and interrupted her. I told her I had better not receive anything from her "company" and I really not get charged for anything or we'd have a major problem. She finally gave up and said goodbye.
- TrentThey just called...as "Laporshe" tried to get my credit card and bank number for a magazine subscription I informed her I had no such subscription. She insisted that I had started a subscription and there was a billing problem. When I also informed her of the legality of what she was doing (ie. I'm a state trooper) she hung up immediately. I'm now sending this number up my chain of command and hopefully to the State Attorney General. There should be some legal recourse for this if others are in the same boat.

- Abby| 1 replyits scary how similar everyone else story is to mine. The girls name was Shanalle, she told me to write it down. When I asked what company she worked for, she said "Oops, sorry I'm new here," and prattled off some abbreviation. She asked about the weather and asked me how long I have been living in my apartment. She small talked and asking me several times what kind of credit card I had. And like a fool I told her. But then she wanted to know what bank it was with. Iv never head a telemarketing spiel like her's before, it just didn't seem real. And every time I told her I was uncomfortable with the questions she would make more small talk. I finally hang up on her

- MattThe same number called me. The person calling me was a guy, whose name was David. He greeted me in a none business way like "Hey Steve!" Then he said something about checking up on how my magazines were doing. When I told him I had no idea what he was talking about, he hung up.
- LOLSDA guy with an exaggeratedly friendly voice called me from this number, said simply "this is Terry" as if I should know who he was, and asked if my magazine subscriptions had been "coming through all right." I have no magazine subscriptions and haven't in years so I hung up. Since then someone at that number has called back 3 or 4 times but so far I've ignored it; I suppose if it continues I'll have to follow Trent's example.
- j65c2Called me as well, I thought it might have something to do with actual magazines I order since I have let some of the subscriptions lapse. Made odd small talk for awhile, gave me a figure to write down "19.16/a month" and acted amazed when I told them I didn't write it down, but had the capacity to remember two numbers.
A more subtle approach to phishing for info, I guess? They were looking for credit card and bank info, things started seeming fishy at this point but I was curious as to where it was going. I started asking what magazines they were calling in reference to (if only to see which of the magazines I support use such strange telecommunications people...) and they said Maxim and ESPN, magazines I don't subscribe to, nor ever did.
They asked me where I bank at, I told them I didn't know and that I didn't have any credit cards. I heard someone yelling in the background, it almost sounded like "they're here, we gotta go" then they hung up. I'd never share bank account info or credit card info over the phone anyway, but I kind of regret telling them some basic demographic info now: age, that I live where they thought I lived.
But, they have my name, address, and personal cell number, so... they have more than that I guess. - MARYI GET A CALL FROM THEM TODAY,BUT I DID NOT ANSWER MY PHONE BECAUSE I THOUGHT THAT THEY WOULD LEAVE A MESSAGE,BUT NOBODY LEFT A MESSAGE.SO I CALLED THE NUMBER AND THEY SAID THEY WERE CLOSED AND LEFT BUSINESS HOURS TO CALL BACK.
- AnnoyedGot the EXACT same call this morning at 10:35. It's Christmas Break (College Student)so I was not fully awake at the time and let my voicemail get it. No voicemail. Called back and nothing. Got a call later on and picked up and it's the same story over and over. They need to be put in jail. Period.
- KristineThey keep calling me EVERY morning waking me up. I called them back and got some automated message system and clicked to get on their do not call list....and it said it would take 4-6 weeks for processing!!! I'm sick of being woken up every morning. I thought they would just stop calling after I didn't answer the phone or would leave a message or something....
- Louie VWould not stop asking for credit card and what back i was banking at! also talks very fast and starts telling you every thing about him and where they work so that you feel better about the call. the scarry part is he knew all my information already and when i tried to lie he would repeat "but oh! i thought you lived here or i thought for shure it was a house or you banked though this!!!!!" now realy why would you need to be so presistant and also let me know you think its this! instead of the lie!. He goes by the name ROBERT ADAMS and then jokes about his name in the adams family! I also type the number in a phone record site and his number comes up as a land line in a nabour hood buy orange county out of a home. Also I called back the number as well and it is an aoutomated voice mail, gives you a web site www.mysubscriptionservices.com also is a fake web site that has NO information about the company and on the services button does not work but the apply for a job does witch does not make since but ask of too much information as well. I hope this has been very helpful, i know it has for me thanx.

- stopcallingme| 2 replieskeeps on calling me despite me saying to remove my number from their list. i have a pre-paid free phone from the state because i am on disability. cant stand this using up my minutes! has called over 10 times in the last 3 days.
- WhatsGoingOnI too received a call today about ten minutes ago. From a woman named "desire" but it was to my parents phone asking for me, and she too asked "have you been receiving your magazines alright?". and of coarse i said what magazines? ive never subscribed for a magazine, and she says oh this could have been as of 5 years ago. At the end she says ok were gonna send you your account information within the next few days and leaves. ???? I just hope these calls stop and everything is resolved.
- jwill20074I just started receiving calls from this number today. The first I missed because I was in class, but the second I just ignored. I'm going to get very angry if I start getting numerous calls from this number like the other people have commented about.
