Supposedly I was selected from one of the 3 major credit bureaus to receive lower interest rates on my credit cards but it only applies to Visa, American Express or Mastercard and you must have balance of $3,000 or more.  Once I told them my balance was below that they hung up on me.

Thank you for your post, they just called me with the same rhetoric. Don't want them to call me anymore what shall I do besides not answer the phone?

Rec'd a call requesting my husband by name. When told he was unavailable, caller simply hung up. With the first post, I'll know not to pick up. Thx

Told me they were calling from my credit card co., but they were unable to identify what credit card I had. Told them I was on the Do Not Call list and not to call back. She was belligerent and said I signed up for them to call. I said only if I was tricked into it. I told her not to call back or I would report them to the government and hung up. Unbelievably, she immediately called me back! I just let it ring. Guess who is going on my blocked call list.
