Got a text saying to call this number, my "immediate attention is needed".

I just got one, how do we stop this crap?

312257@vtext.com yeah this is the same number I received the txt from, and the funny thing that my actual number starts with the same digits!.

I forwarded the text message to Verizon Spam reporting https://www.bbb.org/blog/2012/04/how-to-block-unwanted-text-spam/

Got a vtext from 312405@vtext.com telling "Call 14073080201. Your immediate attention is needed".  I decided to call it and the message said that my debit card had been compromised.  Please type in my 16 digit debit card.  Ha ha ha. LOL Now that's a good one.  Hopefully they don't catch anyone with that hook.

"Caller" sent me a text stating (Your Attnt In Needed.) and to contact this number.

They sent an SMS from 312257@vtext.com with the following text:

(Your Attnt In Needed.) Contact: 4073080201 Today.

F**k them, and especially - f**k Verizon that doesn't stop SMS spam.

This is a scam. Call the phone number and they will ask for your credit number, exp date, zip code, yada yada,

got a text, this needs to stop.

Received a text from this number saying I needed to call right away.  The recording said my debit card may have been comprimised and I needed to enter my person info.

Thanks to this website (thank you all who posted), will disregard.

had a message from this number. said debit card may have been involved in fraudulent activity and wanted me to enter my debit card number.   Duh!
Don't know who to report this to.

I assume this is a scam, don't know why Verison can put a stop to this

Got a text message from 206276@vtext.com saying my immediate attention was needed.  Call the number they listed 407-308-0201 and got what sounded like a computer simulated voice telling me my debit card may have been compromised and to update my information I was to press 1.

Never give anyone you don't know any banking or personal information.

ya it's a scam; don't give out any info; call your bank if you are concerned.

Very Suspicious!!

Text message said it is from the State Dept and that my number has been blocked due to fraud. I didn't call the number, but I assume it would ask for my debit card, as others have stated. Just deleted the text.

We received a text that reads "(DirectExpressCard) 315268XX CardIssue. Call : 407-308-0201" So we called the number and you get a recording that says "Thank you for calling our 24 hours telephone banking. A text message was sent to inform that your debit card was flagged for suspension due to suspicious fraudulent activities. To reactivate and update your personal details press 1 now. Please enter your 16 digit debit card number." ................ What a bunch of scammers!!

just got a text saying it was blocked due to fraud..... and to call number 407 308 0201   googled it and came to this site...this is second time I got contacted today  re these   1st one was to my other number but was a phone call and different number.....2nd one is this one and it was a text...SCAMMMMMMMMM.
