I received a call from this number twice within 5 minutes; they refused to identify themselves.

They call 100x a day... I am sick of it!!! Stop calling not interested

Get a call blocker.
For a land line a call blocker is a programmable electronic box that plugs into the phone line between the phone and the wall.  It also needs an electric outlet.  You can buy one at Best Buy or on line for less than $75.
For a smart phone a call blocker is an app.  Your phone may have one pre-installed or you can download a free one.
For a simple cell phone ask your carrier.  Or put your pests in your contacts list an give them the ring tone "no ring" or "silence".  That won't stop the calls but it will make them easier to ignore.

I couldnt understand much of anything he said...he was talking so fast...but then hecstarted listing off insurance companies amd asked me if they were who I had...I said no thanks and hung up...

this is getting ridiculous. 8 calls in one day. i have them blocked,but calls still persist. all week long they call,every week for the last 6 months. something needs to be done with these scumbags.
