I just got my 4th call in 4 days.  Pressing 3 doesn't help.  Last week I spoke to a  rep and was told he couldn't remove me from their list and the best thing to do is to report the calls to the do not call registry.  Today I pretended to act interested in what they were saying and spoke to John at client services 1 800 522 5633 was his call back # in case we got disconnected.  I dialed that # & got a porn line.

Our son has fun with them . . . when there's someone actually on the line, he will reply with, "Gee, I'm glad you called... I'd like a large pepperoni and black olive with extra cheese.  How long will delivery take?"  At least he gets a laugh out of it instead of feeling annoyed. :)

But mos of them are automatically generated and blowing a whistle or something loud will not help.

I have received 2 calls now. One was from 4074809999 and the other from 4075459999. they are driving me crazy. I too am on the do not call list but they still call. How do I stop them? I know one was for our credit card account ( that we do not have) got no answer on the other one.

what software do you use?

I hope you are right Janet, but that has not been my experience.

Good luck to us all ... or better yet, maybe some enforcement for breaking the "no call list" rules.

I got another one of these today, and I noticed that my caller ID had the following in addition to the phone number: V08161855310029
Does anyone know if this is a clue to the scammers location?

I also got THREE calls today from 866 886-8829 with a live person on the line. Tried to find out about that number and while I did learn that their phone carrier is Tcast Communications (tcastcom.com ) I was unable to get any other info.  Does anyone know how/where to report 866 numbers?  They don't seem to be included on 800 number report lists.

I'm angry and mean enough to bombard the phone carrier to let them know how their customers are behaving. Do you think they'll give a toot?

Got a message from this scumbag about an urgent, last chance to lower interest rates on credit card debt.

I have gotten 3 different numbers to stop calling by freaking them out.

I find that saying "I will find you and murder your family while you watch" in a calm, deep, and dark tone usually works. they never called again.

I just filed two complaints on this number at:  https://www.donotcall.gov  
#1,  I explained my frustration with these calls and number two, I sent them this website and ask that they please take a look at the number of complaints on here since May.  

I received 2 calls from this number today.  Once I was gone and my message machine took the automated message.  Next time, I answered it, took option 1 (as I had gone sometime ago) and told them to get me off their list.  They hung up on me this time.  At least the rep didn't do like before and tell me that I was a real "[***]," when I wouldn't give them my name.  They didn't need it, they had my number, it is simple make it off their list because I don't even have a credit card.

Sorry, I am still so upset with this people from this number!  Sick of them!!!

My prior post, should have said "(as I had DONE sometime ago)" not (as I had gone sometime ago).  Plus, I should have been consistent and said #2, NOT number two.  Oh well, something has to be done with these people.

Effin [***]...I am really tired of this.they called 30 times today.  Enough!

I didn't answer. They left a message saying it is urgent I call them so they can lower the interest rate on my credit card. I don't have a credit card!

They keep wanting to lower some interest rate...  We always let this go to message and they actually leave one!

Now they are jaming up the answering machine.  It does not help to speak to them.  They just say ok and do nothing.  Either ignore calls or anoy them  by talking, asking stupid ???s   Time is money Phone call money

I answer, then say, 'Who are you calling?"
"Oh... Dave? Ok, just a second..."
Then I yell into the air... "Dave! It's for you!"
And then into the phone, "Just a second please, he's coming."

Then I sit the phone down on the table with the line just hanging, waiting for Dave who doesn't exist (or whoever they're asking for...) Pure torture as they wait and wait and wait for a sale... ;)

Scammers at this cell phone - do something please

i live in ohio and i've been getting these calls also for the past 5 months at least once a week they call on a tuesday or thursday all the time with me.i'm so pissed off i even stayed on the line to speak with the reps and they hang up when you ask to talk to the supervisor. i tried reporting the number several times with the trades commission and they have done nothing to stop it like they should be doing.we need to all get together and file some kind of harassment charge against them and there phone company that represents them and allows this to continue.

It drive me crazy,I get the scam from other number yesterday,I block it then I think I should be no trouble any more ,But it is not true,I get other call from it number (407-480-9999) to day , I need to block it number again, that killing me , When will the war will end ??
I don't answer it call because before the phone number ,it was show " V08181648070112" ,it was never happen before !! I know it was scan , when I call back it number ,it told "the number is not in service" , When is the FBI can catch them ??
Too much people were get scam now, be careful !!
