Summer Bay Resorts has been calling me for almost 3 years from this number.

Oh, Mister. You DO NOT give refunds. If you want to argue, the point, call someone else the next time...who cares.

Quit crying and find a job that does not harrass people for almost THREE years. Duh!

I heard an ad on the radio in Nov 2008 and called to try "Right-size smoothies" which was a weight loss smoothie. When I did the free trial they asked if I would like to be connected to the Disney Promotions line for a chance for a promotional vacation. I was 20 at the time, young and naive. So I said sure and they told me about this great deal where if you pay for 2 Disney theme park tickets ($99 each) then you get a weeks stay in their resort for free. Summer Bay Resorts is the company name. Made it sound really nice.

So I bought the tickets and they said I had a year to redeem this vacation. about 9 months later they call and ask why I haven't booked my vacation yet. After all is said and done, and they found out how old I am, they claim that I cannot take the vacation until I am at least 23 years old, and they are unsure how a 20 year old was sold this deal. I told him that no1 ever asked how old I was. He connects me to his manager and he gives me a 3 year extension to take this vacation and also adds cancun mexico as a vacation option. so I cough up 200 more dollars to these creeps and they leave me alone for awhile.

A few months ago they start calling me again and asking me to upgrade my vacation to "all-inclusive" for another $400, I tell him I dont have $400 dollars and that if I decided to do it I would call them. they continue to call me with the same upgrade a few times a day for about three weeks. I would answer if the time was convenient and tell them I already talked to the manager and that I am not interested. One time, I told the guy I already talked to his manager and told him I wasnt interest and asked why they continued to call me, he said he didnt know why, and hung up on me. the next time they called I let them say their spiel and asked the supervisor to take me off the list and I havent heard from them since.

I am still not sure if this is real or not, but judging from the other testimonies it seems to be a scam. I never had any problems with them being unprofessional except for the one guy hanging up on me. they have sent me official letters and such also. who knows.

I think you need to call the Florida Attorney General's Fraud Hotline and discuss your situation with them.  You have been defrauded and should be refunded everything you have paid these criminals.

Kiet Luu owns a townhome in my community, MY building...he is the owner of this scam and his employees are criminals from the Sanford Teen Challenge center however they are late 20's to late 40's  and all have been arrested for drug charges in the last 4 yrs.  One guy now at this townhome, with 3 other guys, has been arrested 9 times! 28yo.   Obviously drug abstention is NOT working.  Winter Sps PD SWAT team etc did an all out drug raid and took 3 of them to jail with $10,000 bond each for drug possession.

They do not fit in this community and are a serious threat to my peace of mind.  I don't think my HOA knows how to get rid of them.   What should we do to get the owner to stop this bedroom-for-rent practice?  Unit is for sale but unsavory with all the single drug addicts living there.

If they want to call people and harass them, I say everyone whose EVER been harassed by a telemarketer call them a couple of times, hit a few numbers in their ear and hang up!

We'll see how much they enjoy losing money, while someone ties up their lines, and costs them staff salary for absolutely SWEET NOTHING!

they also use 407-618-0671 apart from 407-67--0542....verified the scam by checking out their supposed resort partners....resorts responded saying they don't know these companies...the "opener" is a certain SAM and the "closer", Tim...just wasted 15 minutes of my time....

this person that needs piece of mind should not look at what others are doing but at her self she has no idea of what really goes on here and the winter spring police had wasted our tax money with that senseless raid kiet yes owns the condo and has helped countless people with some life struggles i am  living testimony to that this nieghbor is no friend of christ she is the devils advocate in will pay with her soul that will rot in hell i just hope the devil would hurry up and get her!!!

They told me they were Preffered Guest resorts and his name was Kevin Brown.   The name itself was pretty obvious!  Anyway I asked if they had a website and he said he would get to that after his speel.  I hung up after this and he promptly called right back.

These low life's are now targeting the UK. With so much info: known about this pond life why hav'ent they been closed down? Come on US authorities, get your act together. It's not good for your reputation over here in Blighty.

The Summer Bay fraud ring has been operating in Canada, the UK and Australia for some time now.

Details fromt the Florida Attorney General on this type of scam, and how to file a complaint.  Foreign nationals can and should contact the Florida Attorney General - it costs you nothing and will keep the pressure on them to shut this fraud down.  They are already under some time of an investigation from the Attorney General Economic Crimes unit, but this seems to be dragging on for some reason.  In addition, if there are any UK authorities that have the guts to do anything (most countries seem to walk away from dealing with phone scams from out of the country):

Such a scam, and I fell for it!  Advertised as "winning a trip" to Walt-Disney World in a Spanish speaking radio station.  Didn't realize this was a time sharing whatever...They sounded so excited and telling me how I was one in 300 to win this fantastic trip.  When I researched (after the fact), I called my bank immediately and sent them an email cancelling my contract.  Fortunately, I did it the same day and it was that email that may save me.  Once I received their package, I read in the back I have 30 days to cancel.  I called immediately and the "customer rep" was sooooo rude and snapped that if I had called them immediately, they would have refunded me but I chose to call my bank and that it was going to take months now!  I am patient, so long as they don't get my money!

This company has called my husband twice this week wanting him to book a 2 day 2 night cruise to the Bahama's, leaving out of Florida. Entire trip for two people $124.00 I told him it was a scam. Her name was "Lindsay"

I work with a company that has ties to pgr and let me tell you they bring over 40,000 people a year to orlando not counting 27 other destinations. Obviously sometimes you get an [***] simply because all calling centers are contracted out that's normal in this economy. You guys are a bunch of idiots, don't you know that your credit card protects you against "scams" like this.
