- Guest| 2 repliesScam - Promises to upgrade AT&T fiber service from 25/5 to 25/25 for $20 more per month. Just needs to verify EIN to setup an appointment. Red flag #1...Has access to your bill and knows what service you have and what you are paying and your service address exactly to the tee. Said I shouldn't be paying any taxes on current asymmetrical fiber service and definitely will not pay any taxes on new symmetrical fiber service. Red flag #2. She called from 407-903-0676 number but her return number is 407-802-3822 and her name is Jessica Centeno and when the phone answers it is a computer generated voice claiming to be AT&T but I have always heard a real human voice on any hold line for AT&T. Red Flag #3. Then she said she has to go because she only have 15 mins left for her lunch break and she has to be back on the phone at 1:00pm and since she burned up the first 45 mins of her lunch break talking to me. When I asked her about it she said they are really strict and can only be on lunch during a certain hour. Red flag #4. She also said she would call me back in 30 mins to verify that she has changed the due date on the bill...and of course no call back. Red flag #5. DON'T PICK UP FROM THIS NUMBER!!

- DonI keep getting messages marked urgent from this number to my business. He gives my AT&T internet account number and say he needs to talk to me about my current installation of internet service. I have called AT&T directly in the past and asked them why were they calling me and asked if there was a problem. Of course, their answer was that they had not called me and they did not detect any problem with my service. This is a scam call from someone in FL named Robert who leaves a Verizon assigned business number, (407) 512-1340, to call him back on directly. I am not calling him and I will never verify to him that he has any correct info related to my account.
- Caller: Fake AT&T
- OTSAJust had a very rude man call from this number, claiming we needed to upgrade our service. I asked him who called him to request this service. His comment was "Ma'am, you're not listening, we have to do this" and then hung up on me. Scam caller!

- SallyBerryAfter my usual business greeting, caller hung up. I dialed the number and reached a poor-quality recording in a lady's accented voice that said, "Thank you for calling AT&T. Your call may be monitored for quality assurance." Then a live person said, "This is Robert, how can I..." I hung up because I am sure it was NOT AT&T.

This number called the office this morning before I arrived. The caller didn't leave a message on our answering machine. It looks like this will be the week where we receive these particular calls more than the rest.- Caller: FLORIDA CALL

- BeUpFront replies to CindyI had a similar experience this morning--21 March 2018. A man named Eddie Lambert called about our telephone service, was a little rude. Said he needed to talk to me about our phone service. I said that we only talk to our AT&T Business Manager about our service. I asked "Eddie" to e-mail me what exactly it is he needs and he said he would cc our Business Manager (except I didn't give the e-mail address). I never received the e-mail from Eddie
- JohnCalled to tell me that my business needed to convert to fiber optic from DSL, HAD to schedule tech for upgrade, and that I could probably actually end up little cheaper monthly. 1 serious problem my area we are scheduled for fiberoptic in approx. May 2020 due to an extensive infrastructure rebuild underway, ATT is splicing copper wires together currently to try to hold out. Guess I would be to the party a LITTLE early!

- JNorrisCall from Curtis (407) 903-0676, asking for our owner by first name. Said he was calling from AT&T, and that UVerse service is being replaced. Said AT&T replacing copper lines. Our company doesn't have UVerse. He gave a different number for the callback - (407) 541-0953. AT&T doesn't call us from area code 407 (Florida). They call us locally. This is not really AT&T.
