Also received call 8pm PST.  Asked me for my birthdate to "verify" I was really the correct person.  I hung up.  3 Dec 2010.  The callback number does not match any normal phone number as supplied by the health care company, however.

Scam for your INFO!

They left a message and wanted me to call them back.  I agree with the person named "uninsured".  It's a reminder to get (insert some kind of test) here.  Not an important call.  They do this to people to get such and such a test 'just in case'.  Let your recorder answer it, don't bother.

Getting numerous calls from this number. My phone number is on a do not call list....Not sure why I am getting these calls.

Keeps calling and not leaving a message.  What ever happened to the DO NOT CALL list I signed up for years ago???

Received call from them today, I told them to call me on a proper phone line showing who they are if they want to speak with me. This is my insurance company, they should save a little money on these calls and pay more on medical claims. They know how to get in touch with me and should do it the proper way, this is deceiving. Their number has shown up many times on my caller ID  and I've always ignored them...how about acting more professional UHC.

I called United Health Care in Jax and they told me to call 888-216-0017 which is the customer support number.  The person I talked to at UHC Jax said it was wise to hang up.   This is my first call from 407-965-3701 and I agree, given the identity theft issues these days, automated calls from ANY company, especially calls indicating that "this is a health related call,"  are NOT a good idea even if the reason for the call is legitimate!

Geez.  

Another AUTOMATED recording asking for my insurance information...I claimed "not to know" my member number or my social and I'm on hold now (listening to medical information and music).  Once I talk to a human being, will relay my concerns about 407-965-3701.  

Kerri at UHC called the number to see if she could determine if it is a VALID UHC number...I'm waiting on hold.

She said that it IS one of their automated systems...and it is valid.

I finally got through to the division of UHC that handles my retirement benefits and I was told that there are NO ALERTS on my account as far as billing or personal information is concerned.  He wasn't able to tell me if there were any physical/medical alerts as "that is not my department".   I was also told to go online and that if there are any alerts AT ALL, they will be listed on my online account.  

It appears that, like the government and other Big Business entities, the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing??

I recently received a USPS letter indicating that there are some yearly maintenance health issues to attend to, so PERHAPS the 407-965-3701 phone call is a follow up to that letter?   If that is so, the billing or personal information folks wouldn't know about them.   I guess.

I'd say, if you get a call from that number, do what you can to contact your UHC representative to make sure nothing is URGENT with your health care and then put the matter out of your mind.

Just got a call from 1-407-965-3701 and an automated message was left on my voicemail asking me to call 1-877-897-4026 and enter the access code xxxxxxx which they left with the voicemail.
I then dialed that number and entered the code.

It was UHC and they had a [***] automated message telling me how important it was to do breast cancer check ups.

Great way to get with your customers UHC. How unprofessional, do they even know how suspicious the whole thing seems like with automated voicemails? With no hint on who they were and asking people to call back.

I was getting numerous mailings regarding screening tests. I called the number on the mailing and asked them to stop sending reminders - I don't need my insurance company babysitting me. Immediately - the next day - I started receiving automated phone messages regarding same. I wish they spent less money doing this and more covering the one medication that I need (which they recently upped to 3rd tier).
