At 12:40 today (Saturday Feb. 1, 2014), a call came in from 1(408)175-5249.  The display said "Name not found."  I answered, an father a brief delay, a young man said "Hello, Ma'am."  In a normal voic nd tone, I said matter-of-factly "If this is a solicitation, I'm going to hang up."   He replied "Thank you anyway for being rude," and he hung up.  Fine by me, but I was not rude--I was honest, and whose Saturday was HE interrupting, anyway?!

Received a call and he asked if I needed work inside or outside. I told him I need no work done. He said there are only three answers 1. inside 2. outside or 3 I have no money. I told him nothing needed to be done. He said "you have no money" and hung up.
Very bizarre and if he thinks he will get business through intimidation, he is wrong.

Dial *57 after they hang up and you will get the real number - then report them or bombard them with your calls!

Sounds like the same guy that was calling about doing home repairs from another fake number. Said they were HRG.  Asks for you by name and when you say 'no thanks' to his offer, he slams the phone down, but they keep calling...

This # called and asked for my father in law.  When I asked what it was regarding the person hung up.  We had the police at our house not too long ago for a similar issue.  Seems that these callers are targeting senior citizens.  Beware.

I called these people and they didn't know if they called me or not, they were polite...

Next time I will answer (408)175-5249 and buy whatever they are selling and confirm the source.
