This call is from A1 Solar Power, a solar company based in Van Nuys, California (with six branches throughout the state: San Diego, Costa Mesa, Carpenteria, Petaluma, Concord, and San Jose) or one of its telemarketing fronts.  

A1 Solar Power’s telemarketing fronts usually spoof both the Caller-ID name and the Caller-ID number or use recently disconnected numbers.  Occasionally, they will spoof the active number of an unsuspecting victim.

This number calls me everyday. I answer and it is dead air. How do I get off their calling list?

Getting spoofed calls almost daily from 408-264-3036 and their other spoofed pool of numbers. A1, California Energy Initiative etc. When they do connect and it's not dead air I tell them not to call me and they start to taunt. Bunch of [***].

I've had it with this spammer.  I answer and politely say Fu$K Y1U as loud as I can.  Then play a recorded message telling them 'That was EZ' about 10 times.  I've asked them to stop calling but it never ends.  I think I will arrange a meeting with them and slash all their tires if they call one more time........

When I answer in a normal deep voice, no one ever comes on the line.  However, if I disguise my voice like an older lady then they always pick up.  Go figure.  Fu$k Them!!

There is a caller ID showed "Martha Shenk". Called everyday. No message.

Martha Shenk was the caller ID. I never answered.

Caller ID says Martha Shenk. Calls daily. Never leaves a message. If you call back, it says you have reached a number that is no longer in service.

Keep calling me almost everyday. When I pick up, it is off. How do we stop this?

Called me on my cell today. They started marketing me some solar junk. I immediately asked them to remove my number from their list, and they said they don't have a list. When asked how they got my number, they claim they got it from PG&E, and at some point he claimed that he is from PG&E. I never gave PG&E my cell phone number, and he is a big time LIAR. Just cut off the call. Horrible guys.

Here is another phone number from them horrible people 1-408-264-2832 I have blocked both numbers and am going to file a complaint with A1 Solar and the BBB and whoever else will listen.

The caller ID says Hank Martha. Called me twice today. First time it said that something solar and I hung up.. Redialing this number gives a recording that this number does not work anymore. Called also in the night time and no one was there when answered,.

I have been relentlessly telemarketed by these poorly trained idiots. They attempt to harass me, and have tried to coerce the contact information of my family members to harass them instead.

Do a general google search for "California Green Energy Center" and you will find hundreds of others being harassed like this. Several people have been called "stupid", "idiot", employees have gloated about their fat paychecks, and there was even one reported call where an employee threatened to f**k the customer's wife.

Every time I received a call, I'd ask to be removed from their call list and that has clearly not been acknowledged. Constant hangups, the calls are not returnable, and despite their best efforts to hide behind really bad websites, I've found all this information about them.

ASKING THE TELEMARKETERS TO TAKE YOU OFF THE LIST WILL NOT HELP, but you can complain to "California Green Energy Center" directly and they will do so from the management level.

These people are knowingly telemarketing and caller ID spoofing. They are aware that their profits from doing so outweigh the fines they can expect from anyone that goes through the trouble of suing them and reporting them. There are many reviews and complaints out there from people whose elderly inlaws have been scammed into buying thousands of dollars of malfunctioning solar equipment. F*** these people. If you have the resources to, then take them to court. You will win. Give them hell!

When I called Top Design, they denied any connection to Solar Power until I claimed that I was already working with someone from the Green Energy Center. There's also a youtube video out there called "At work California green energy center 2014" and its description says "Top design, California green energy center".

Others have claimed the party responsible is Go Green Energy Center in North Hollywood. I doubt this, but their numbers are 818-358-2851 or 877-593-2995.

There are confirmed connections to A1 Solar Power Inc, Go Green Education, National Renewable Energy Center, California Energy Initiative, and California Solar Initiative.

A1 Solar hired scams.

How do you know these calls are coming from A1 Solar? I am simply getting dead air when they call. I would love to pursue but i am unable to verify this is who is calling...

[WHO ARE THEY?]

408-264-XXXX Caller ID hijacked numbers. The following companies 1) to 7) are said to be associated and hired telemarketers with these scam calls. The telemarketers they hire not only hijacks private numbers but also violates several FTC laws.


[WHAT THEY DO?]

They have been calling on one of these numbers during weekdays and Sundays with average of 10 to 20 calls per day. They keep switching the last four digits repeating the same calls. The number uses the caller ID of innocent third person as a victim and pretend they are not scams. The same old method when you pick up there is no one there and hungs up. When you call back the number says it is of a terminated or disconnected line. National Do Not Call Registry means nothing to them.
