2/2/2015: No message - ID "Out of Area" (which is not true) - blocked them

Telemarketer calling from "National Renewable Energy Center". When I asked for my number to be taken off the call list, the woman accused me of starting to yell at her. (I wasn't even close) She blustered on about my having a darkness in my soul, yada, yada, yada. Nutcase telemarketer.

One of TOO MANY Gilroy/Los Gatos/Morgan Hill-related spoofed numbers that actually started last year, leading me to start blocking area codes, so this also didn't get through to my phone.  Today has been a very lively scumbags day, I've lost count of how many numbers I've deleted from my blocker's screen so far.  This showed up as CALIFORNIA CALL.

Last week, they called from -6954. Now it's -6944. Anyone who spoofs a caller ID is, by definition, a scammer, so be warned.

Anyone having an android, can block using 408290.  That will block all calls coming from 408290.  That's what i did, and it block all the calls from all the 408290.

They call twice a day...extremely annoying. I have placed them on the do not call list, and i have asked them to take us off their list. Finally today I had it, and swore at the lady. We can't block the area code because we have several friends that live it that area (very close to our home).

408-290-6944 number called when picked up, it hangs up. Blocked.

Multiple calls, this time calling themselves "National Renewable Energy Center". Won't honor Do Not Call requests, has been reported to FCC.  It seems nothing will stop these people short of litigation.

multiple calls from this number and they put spades and plus signs to try to make it look different each time, so annoying, blocked it.

Called and tried to pretend they were from the State of CA offering energy rebates. Very shady.

Every evening a call comes from this number and no body answers the phone. This is very annoying

Called yesterday from -6942 and asked for the homeowner. Told them this is my cellphone & I don't own a home. They said they would note it so I wouldn't receive calls again. Today they called from -6944 and I didn't answer. Blocked both numbers.

No messages, not blocked

Most cell phones have reject list.  You can add this as starting with 141829069 and it will reject all calls coming from the scum bags.

Multiple calls last week and this one.  No messages left.  CLID says 'Sunnyvale, CA'. I am putting this on Block list of phone.
