This number called my cell 4 times today in the last 3 hours. They left 3 voicemails that appear to be the same message about how i was verified for some scam and how they needed my personal information. They also had a spanish sounding accent. This is scam, don't pick up this number.

Indian. Sob . Said I was going to be arrested from a mailing adress . His said his name is kevin anderson from district attorney in california working with us legal services. I *67 him back and wouldn't give him any info. Said he was investing me . Said he Had my name and ss#. {BS). Give him a good cussing and told him what I did to his mother last night and how his sister was on clean up duty. Nothing but a scamer.!!!! Don't give any info to this terrorist sob.

Had received phone call from Keith Anderson the last 3 days 4-5 Times a day staying I was being arrested from mailing address and that I was under investigation.

DO NOT give this person any money or information.
This is a scam for money.
We called the police to open an investigation.

If you receive a call from 408-329-6194 claiming your under investigation and will be arrested it is a SCAM. I called district attorneys office and they told me it was a scam.

I got a call from this Kevin Anderson guy and he told me he was the State Attorney for California he got me all upset and was telling me if I did not make a down payment on the restitution I owed for unpaid medical bills and unpaid payday loans that he would have me arrested at my mailing address. Every since then he has been calling me at 5 and 6 in the morning and he keeps telling me that it is a certain time where he is so I do not think he is in the state of California. I called the District Attorneys for my county and they told me it was a scam and then I also called the police for the city of Sacramento and filed a report. Wednesday I got a call and the number showed up as an emergency number so I answered and the lady on the other line told me she was working for the Sacramento Police Dept and that she worked in the investigation dept so I asked her for her number and she gave me the number for the switch board so I got the number from the dispatcher for the investigation dept and I talked to a really nice lady and I told her what was going on and she said that she couldnt find anything under my address or my name so this is a scam do not give them the time of day and do not answer their calls

The exact same thing happened to me, gets me all worked up at work and I googled the phone number and saw all these comments... Thank you all for writing these because I was worked up and nervous for no reason at all... This guy is really something else!!!

Debt is civil not criminal, so you wouldn't be arrested for unpaid bills.  And remember - any time someone calls threatening you this way, they are in violation of the FDCPA.  Read about it and learn your rights as a consumer.

I just got a call from these people and they told me I was going to jail for unpaid bills. I was crying and all upset because everything they were saying was false. I do have creditors I owe money to and I pull my credit report to get all my debtors and we have been sitting up payments so I can clear and rebuild my debt. I told the guy that and he stated if I was paying my debt and the companies were taking the payment they would be sued. I am so mad about this whole thing and I am going to call back and tell this guy where he can go and I wish I could kick him in his a--. I cannot believe people can be so cruel to people and one day they might cause someone to have a heart attack by telling them they are going to jail!!!
