Just received a call from this number but it was blocked by Mr. Number on my cell phone.  Google tells me it is from Sunnyvale, CA.  Any ideas?  Either phishing for info or a scammer...

Rang once and hung up.

No message left.

Called this morning. Rang once and disconnected.

caller i.d. said it was from TX.   After hangup it registered on log it was CA. No msg left.

One quick partial ring and disconnected. Weirdos think they'd find something useful to do

one ring on my cell phone then hung up. Whats the point?

One short ring then hung up. I called back, but was told all circuits were busy. Called again to hear a busy tone. My guess is maybe a computer programmed to register existing phone numbers by calling, then ends the call once it realizes the line is either active or not. Just a hunch though.

Some company saying they have a $100 voucher for me. I'm not falling for this crap.

Called, I didn't recognize the # so I didn't pick up. No VM left. San Jose area code. Blocked list. ;]

Do not call back on these calls, well known scam!

Didn't even ring long enough to create a sound or vibration.

Called my cellular phone.  No message left.
