Recieved a voicemail stating, "This is not a solicitation call please listen to this message entirely there is currently a motion being filed to suspend all bank accounts and tax returns bearing your name and Social Security number to review all immediate rights and details and avoid all further proceedings please contact our office at 844-880-5803 or press one to be transferred to a case manager…”

I too recieved a call from 408-409-1324 and  now 408-409-1334 with a prerecorded message stating  that a motion is being filed on my taxes freezing my bank accounts and SS#.  That I needed to call 844-880-5803.  This is a complete scam.  Don't call or reply.

Received recorded message and reported to donotcall.gov, it is a scam, you should report it as well if you receive the call. Do not respond, do report.

Just received this message for the 2nd time in 2 weeks.

Just received a recorded message and when I pressed 1 to speak to a real person she couldn't tell me who she was looking for only that she needed my phone number to verify who they were looking for

Same message left as previous people, comes from many numbers.

All of the above messages convey my sentiments. They (whoever "they" are) have been calling incessantly. I doubt that reporting it will do any good, although we might like to think so. They'll just change the number they use. The internet is "out of control" and it seems to me that technology continues to be embraced as evidence of "our advancement." Really? It is one of my hopes that people who receive these calls don't "fall" for the threats in this call, but some will. I called the number back and got a recorded message that stated: "Thank you for calling the Fund Raising Center. We are unable to take your call at this time." For whom Is the Fund Raising Center raising funds. No brainer. Themselves.

How can we be sure this is a scam???

I got the same message as stated above.  My husband did too.  This is ridiculous!  How can we make them stop?!?!?!

My husband has received this call with prerecorded "motion filed" message, twice in the past week. They never say his name. His voicemail greeting also does not say his name. It is so obviously unprofessional.

IRS Scam.  Don't just report it here, report this number and the number they tell you to call to the FTC.gov.   The form is simple, and I've had success doing this with unwanted numbers.

report them to ftc.gov.  The FTC has a simple form to file complaints such as this.

I'm a lawyer and they hung up when I said so. Total scam.
