Scammer spoofed a California number but said he was calling from Florida to collect political donations for police

It's Eddie who's actually a robot.  He's well programmed but can only make prerecorded statements.  If you start asking him questions like what letters are duplicated in Mississippi, he'll hang up.  The scammers who operate him fake many other numbers and CIDs, as can be found here.  There is some indication that the calls are actually coming from places like India or Romania.
