San Jose Mercury News advertising.

Has been calling almost daily. Caller always leaves an empty message.
Does not answer if i answer the call.

Missed call. Returned call and got hold of a rep selling San Jose Mercury News for $1.99/week. I told the rep I live in Los Angeles and the call ended politely. Hopefully, he will purge my number.

Jerk asks if I'm STILL a subscriber to the Mercury news....?

Caller doesn't even a message so I blocked the number.

As with above posts received call, answered and no one responded.  I added to my auto reject list.  The info here was extremely helpful.  Thank you.

SJ Mercury News promotion dept.  Get several calls from them where after a few seconds they hang up  I called back, polite lady with some bs about they couldn't hear people answering because of the noise in their call center (aka boiler room) I advised I am a 7 day wk and e-subscriber and asked to be removed from call list hope it works.  If not will report them next time I get a call.

Ahh, thx, so THAT's why! I just cancelled our sub. after 2 years of ongoing, frustrating delivery issues! And I found it HI-larious the delivery person had the gall to insert an xmas card inside the paper, trolling for a tip, after yet another year of random delivery...WTH??!!

Asked how things were on 'Foldon St.' Made no sense. Selling Mercury News "your local newspaper." Since when is it local to Denver? Mixed up like a hound's dinner.

It shows as unknown caller.  We have told them that we no longer subscribe to the Mercury News because it went up again and too pricey.  Next time will report then to the FTC.

Call came in but no one spoke. Called number back only to get message saying I will be called back, or Ito press 2 to be removed from their call list. Now are rings more with same no response. Now no one here wants to interrupt their work to answer telephone and legitimate customers go to voice mail hurting our quality of care. I Called my IT guy who says nothing to do to stop these clowns, except answer the phone and hang up if its not customer. Sad.

Hung up on caller.

When I said I can't hear you and I'm on the do not call lust woman hang up.
