Please, please, please if you don't recognize the number don't answer the phone.  The only reason these idiots keep calling everyone is because people keep answering their calls.  If it is important they will leave a message.

Got a call from 408-418-0249 but did not answer.  No message.  Check this website and based on info here I have blocked this number.

I am SO sick of these calls-everyday they call & blocked number list is getting huge!! Wish they would leave us alone & get a real job-someday they're going to regret it when they try to get into the pearly gates at their makers-I can hear the heavenly laughter now!! I accidentally picked this call (408-418-0249) and just heard "Urgent message from your IRS..." I hung up right away and blocked it.

Although the caller ID said SURVEY, Surprise! It was Lisa your local Google specialist.  Anyway you slice it, area code 408 is not local.

Google scam

Imagine that!  A NEW Google scam.  Ha!  Almost as old as the Nigerian scams.
Called cell - blocked as the phone was ringing.
Also, received a call today from Tampa, FL - 813 533-9365.  Same scam.  We have the entire 813 area code blocked on our land lines - and indeed, most all Florida area codes - scammers!

Called but I didn't answer.  Left no voicemail. I get calls several times a day from different numbers and they never leave messages.  All scams.  This is getting out of hand.

This is a band of convicted felons, who continue their crime spree after being released from prison due to "prison overcrowding." Don't look to our useless government for help. We will have to live with these uninvited callers for the rest of our lives because politicians are too busy depositing slush money into their own bloated bank accounts to have any time to do anything productive.

They called saying they're collecting IRS tax debt. I hung up before they could start asking for personal information.

I  received a call this morning from this number I did not answer to see of they would leave a message this time lawd they did and it was a robotic message claimed to be the IRS. I guess they forgot they called before about a loan a month ago? I called the number back and the man never give his name how ever claimed that someone had a law suit against me.  I asked who are you looking for? he said why are you yelling 1) the IRS do not call about clivl lawsuits. This person proceeded and ask  me  what your is your attorney name?  Are you she I said you know what if you are The IRS why would the IRS be calling about a law suit against me  that someone filed? What is your name? He hung up.

We also receive the same calls I started to think why does this company not introduce who they are and only ask for the business owner or person in charge of the accounts?  When I say no and that she will be back later they just hang up.  [***] this time they called and buddy sounded like he was smoking and when he asked if I am the account holder  I said, yes and let him talk for like 10 plus minutes, lol then I asked him why others hung up on me, his voice cracked and I  told him I am not the account holder and that I would call him back he said,  "no we will contact the next person in line for the promotion" wow he sounded mad,  So I swore at him and hung up.    He called back me right back which is a shock, but I did not answer.

Too bad it isn't really the final notice.

someone called -- no message.  Never even heard of these towns in California.  Deleted already.  How can I get a phone number from Gilroy or Morgan Hill?  Then I could call everyone

This number called the office twice, the first time being five days ago. Today, I answered the most-recent call, thinking it was a survey, so to tell the caller this is an office and we don't want to participate in surveys. Instead, it turned out to be the robocall asking people to update their Google-plus listings. Now that i know what it is, I'll be ignoring any call with this caller id in the future.

Now it's a robo caller looking to sell business leads.  And to the folks out there:  Peerless is a carrier (ITSP), not the caller.

Same here.  Lisa your local Google specialist.  Getting this call at the office every day for about 2 months now.

Whatever they are selling, it's probably suspect.

The approach varied.  Some times, they said "there is nothing wrong with your credit card".  Other people received the message that their credit card "didn't pay", and besides, they were paying an interest rate that was too high.

This number called my DNC cell phone number and claimed to reduce my credit card debt by 50% - number is now blocked.
