a person from this number, "sean wilson" has been calling my husband for the last 2 months about tech support for his dell computers.  this started out as a relatively benign experience, and my husband said they actually cleaned his machines of malware.  but lately, there have been increasing situations of asking for money, in exchange for credits to an amazon prime account he has.  he replied and the result was over 8k of fraudulent charges via paypall.  this he stopped, and then "sean" asked for loans of increasing value in exchange for some kind of equity in a software company.  finally, after sending 13k to a number in india, i confronted him about the possibility of fraud.  he responded that the promised amount never appeared in the amazon prime account via chase bank, although he sent money to the address supplied.
now, this person, "sean wilson" has been after him for a loan of 20k, which he says he will repay in 2 months.  i said, when told, he was crazy to loan a money to this person.  heavy east indian accent, often a delay when answering the number when it comes up.  when "sean" called again this morning, i told him if he ever called our home number again, i would report him for telecommunications fraud and to the fbi.  "sean" hanged up.  the other number this person uses is 315-875-7661, a new york number.  please warn people to be aware of this scam.   apparently there is a legit person, a hacker sean wilson, who works with open analysis on malware detection, but i am guessing this is not the person who scammed my husband.  but who knows?
