These people are jerks. They call, over and over, and then when you answer and ask that they not call you again, they hang up before you are even done talking.

This number showed up in Caller ID. They did not leave a message, making them "suspect." We call-screen. No recognize caller, no talkee. Put them on call-blockade. Message to them: "Up yours."

Caller ID is SSI. Calls daily no one there when answered.  It's been two weeks daily now.

Tried the opt out option given by Laura -option was disabled and was not available or active/usable. This same SSI has called us over the last 3 days using multiple numbers - 408-337-8020, 408-634-7006 and 408-337-8403. blocked them all but they keep calling using different numbers. Frustrating to the MAX! They list a phone number to call but am not convinced it will get me off their call list. will just keep blocking.

Mary, that was email  OPT-OUT  page it should work but when dealing with less than professional and ethical predatory creeps they disable some functions.  A google search "Survey Sampling International OPT-OUT" gives phone number options to OPT-OUT see https://www.surveysampling.com/contact/opt-out-do-not-call/ and memo date and time of request. If and when they ignore your demand for OPT-OUT try a detailed complaint to their BBB http://www.bbb.org/connecticut/business-revie ... -ct-1003542/and your state and their state Attorney General's Office. Include under all "databases" as they use alternate names: S S I Holdings,  Survey Spot.

They will never reach me by phone. My phone numbers are on the DO NOT CALL list, and I mean it: if I don't know them personally, don't call. They don't respect the DNC list -- put them on the DNA (DO NOT ANSWER) list. I don't know who they are, nor do I care. This category of phone-call tries to get you to empty your bank account into theirs. Don't fall for it. Never give out personal info over the phone, including surveys. I hope all people involved in this scam, plus friends and extended families, suffer a prolonged, painful, pariah-making, debilitating, bankrupting deformity.

I just received the same phone call

Second call on Wednesday 09/14/2016 at 7:53pm.  Left no message.
(Thank you, others, for letting us know that this is not Social Security.)

Constant calls and its the same nonsense as the SSI calls that come from 408-337-8020. They first want to conducts an survey, then they want to talk about my city, (going in the right direction?  Wrong direction?)  Again, I screamed like a wild person to take me off their "stupid" list and put me on the "do not call" list.  To no avail.  They hung up and called again two hours later.  I am about ready to be PHONELESS!  Its maddening.

This trash keeps calling, different numbers ALL hours (1 last night, 9:42pm!!!). No messages.
Numbers rec'd are 408-337-8043, 408-337-8020, & now 407-634-7006 starting today.

This number called and there was a long pause before the guy answered hello and he said they are calling from Man Power wanting to do a survey and proceeded to ask for the HR manager...transferred him to VM...soooo which one is it?

Caller ID shows SSI-Dynata, call went to voice mail and no message was left. An hour early had another call from SSI-Dynata from a different phone number 4083378291 and again no message was left.

www.ftc.gov says "survey companies" are not covered by the Do Not Call Registry because they are not attempting to sell anything.  My guess is anyone who calls themselves a "survey" can say they are not disobeying DNC, regardless of what their true motive in calling you is and regardless of how devastatingly annoying their calls are.  They don't care!  Don't blame the government, just block the caller if you can or else only answer the phone if you recognize the number calling you.
