unknown number.    Did not answer.  No message.   Appears to be some history on internet, but not on this webpage.

It's GE Home Security....well not really GE but fly by night scam artists using their name to try to sell you a "free"
home security system that will only cost you $40.00 per month to monitor.

The idiot I spoke to was dumb enough to give me a real call back number (the number on caller ID is spoofed).  His
name is Steve Brooks and his call back number is 714-418-6834.  If you're tired of these companies ignoring the
Do Not Call Registry and scamming people, maybe a few calls to Mr Brooks might help to stop the calls from coming.

I am on the MO no call list and got a call today at 1100, no message left

Got a call from this number and we are on the National Do Not Call Registry...I reported them

Just got a call from this number, 1-408-880-6322, the caller ID said Cell phone CA. I answered it thinking it was my friend from Sac. No one was there. I tried to call her and saw it was a completely different number. I looked up the number and it's from Fresno. I did not call it back seeing all the feedback here. Hope this helps.

This number calls me about 4-5 times a day - no one ever talks.  

Eveyday , up to 8 times a day! (408) 880-6322 Caller ID says Home Security. They never leave a message. When I answer they hang up. I have been on the do not call list for three years. I am dissabled and so frustrated with all these annoyance calls.

Sept 24, 2014 -- Contrary to a previous complaint, the 408 area code is NOT Fresno.  It's the San Jose, Cupertino, Sunnyvale areas.  I got two calls within 30 minutes.  I had logged the new number and Caller ID into spreadsheet I keep for the purpose of tracking these numbers, but hadn't put it into my Call Blocker by the time the second call came in.  It's in there now so that number won't be allowed any more.  I picked up the phone and listened but no one spoke on the other end so I hung on the first one.  

If these callers try to sell you something and you are on the National Do Not Call list, then they are breaking the law and they become criminals at that point.  If they simply call and talk but don't try to sell you something then it's perfectly legal.  They can legally use a spoofed number, that is, one that isn't their true number and/or Caller ID.  Also, they don't have to say anything at all, and that's legal, too.

Just got a call from this number (408-880-6322), did not answer, let answering machine pick up, did not leave a message.
I'm too on the "Do Not Call List", still get annoying calls from various callers........Tired of it.

lol. just called the number listed, 714-418-6834. No answer but within 5 minutes got a call back from that number and I asked if it this was GE Security and asked to be put on the do not call list. Guy was nice and said sure no problem...lol...

I keep getting calls from this number as well.  They've called at least 4 times today and I finally decided to answer so I could  tell whoever it was what I thought about their shenanigans.  But no one was there....

I have had 5 calls from this number today.  Wish the Donotcall list took care of these calls...useless

Put the blame where it really lay's, with the criminals and illegal telemarketers.
The DNC works just fine. It is for telemarketers only and honest business does indeed abide by it. It is the criminals (which includes illegal telemarketers), frauds and scammers that do not. However, the Fed. DNC does not cover some survey's, Political or Charities.  You would need to check your states DNC laws to see if these are under your states DNC laws.  The fact remains that they are not automatic call blockers though and can not protect you from the calls that are criminal, illegal or fraudulent.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone..  You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.

Getting calls.

Got the California call again today. By these postings, it's the familiar old security system scam. I'm in Florida. If I wanted to purchase a security system, why would I deal with someone located in CA? These creeps don't realize how dumb they look? Does anyone remember when your phone was for your convenience and those with whom you had business dealings, and you could actually afford it? Its DEREGULATION at it's finest. No one has to be accountable now except us consumers ( poor Devils). By the way, received 7 scam calls today by 1:27 pm.

Got same call just now. No msg. Caller ID (name) says HOMESECUR. Now blocked.

yes I have receive calls from this number several times. Annoying. No one there.
