Called. Did not pick up. I know nobody in Beaumont and highly suspect it is a nuisance call. Will check back here to see if others report.

Did now answer. Do not know who it is, but a post on another website said it was Conn's. If that's the case, and I believe it is because most of these scammers don't call on the weekend, and Conns has been calling me everyday for weeks and weeks,) then Conn has spoofed their number and i.d. from their original and changed to another. Why am I not surprised? Conns is the worst of the worst offenders. I have not answered their call one time because I programmed them into my Phone Tray and zapped all their calls, and they still call., If this is a spoof of Conn's original calls, we'll see if my caller i.d. stops showing "Conns" for a while.  and starts showing the new number all of a sudden.  

I received a call from this number but I did not pick up. I don't know anyone with this number.

I've been getting a very annoying pattern of calls since Oct 12th 2014.  Every day between 8am and 9am, I get a call from a number identified only as "Beaumont TX", but it's a different number every day.  Then I'll get several more calls throughout the day from that same number (2 to 6), then the next day a new "Beaumont TX" number calls and repeats this pattern (with other numbers occasionally peppered in, see below).  They rarely ring more than 4 times, and never leave a message when the voicemail picks up.  This pattern has been happening every day since the 12th and continues today (Oct 20th).  I know all these numbers are the same scumbag telemarketer/scammers, but here's what I'm getting:

But I moved and got a new number, and only got an occasional call instead of several per day, every day.  Until now.  So your number gets put in some scumbag's auto-dial system and you're screwed for eternity now?

Called my cell and i Did not answer since I do not know the number. They left no message so I dialed them back on another phone and it is a dead line. Scam Call.

More of the annoying constant daily calls since Oct 2014.  I haven't posted in a while so I figure I'd do a year-end list since my last post on Nov 23.  The number of scam calls I've received is ridiculous, I get as many as 20 a day now, TWENTY (I'm not displaying calls with no numbers here, I get a few of those too).  How many hundreds of calls do I need to get before it is considered harassment?  Phone company won't do anything about it, they want to sell me more overpriced crap.  I'll probably be switching to a VoIP service soon so I can have control over my line without getting ripped off.

Anyway, here's the nightmare of calls.  By the way, I don't owe anyone money, I've never had a student loan, I've never done business with "Conn's" or "SALLIE MAE", these calls are pure BS.  And they never leave a message when they manage to get the voice mail:

I don't know how much more I'll be posting, I think this list gives the idea and I simply can't keep up with it anymore.  I bought a new Panasonic phone that allows 250 blocked numbers and you can set it to not ring on the first ring before it blocks, which has helped save my sanity (I'm not posting the model number here so this isn't considered spam, but it's easy to find with a search).

This is Conns. They are a legitimate business. If you don't have an account with them answer the phone and tell them they have the wrong number. They will quit calling.

Bs jme. Conn's does nothing but harrass. But keep calling .me, please...because you a are in for a surprise when the Texas attny gnrl sues and I walk away with a big cash award. Please keep on calling

they've been calling from this number and some other similar ones...said she was from conn's appliance and wanted me to make a payment towards my account. she wasn't trying to get my soc sec no nor any other personal info. she said i owed them money - i played along that my name WAS michael (it isn't) - she stated i owed 1400.00 and could make a partial payment thru a credit card i had on file. she asked me if she could use the mastercard or visa. i asked her for the last 4 of the cards. none matched my card.  i aked her to verify my address and she gave me one in TX (i live in midwest). she began to suspect that i wasnt michael and said she probably didnt reach the right person. i told her my state and it wasnt tx and i told her i don't have an account with them. she asked what yr i was born and i told her the 50s and she said wrong person, we'll update our records. 6 hrs later i called the number and asked what company it was and they told me conns hq.
probably not a scammer but stay tuned.
