I've been getting a very annoying pattern of calls since Oct 12th 2014.  Every day between 8am and 9am, I get a call from a number identified only as "Beaumont TX", but it's a different number every day.  Then I'll get several more calls throughout the day from that same number (2 to 6), then the next day a new "Beaumont TX" number calls and repeats this pattern (with other numbers occasionally peppered in, see below).  They rarely ring more than 4 times, and never leave a message when the voicemail picks up.  This pattern has been happening every day since the 12th and continues today (Oct 20th).  I know all these numbers are the same scumbag telemarketer/scammers, but here's what I'm getting:

But I moved and got a new number, and only got an occasional call instead of several per day, every day.  Until now.  So your number gets put in some scumbag's auto-dial system and you're screwed for eternity now?

More of the annoying constant daily calls since Oct 2014.  I haven't posted in a while so I figure I'd do a year-end list since my last post on Nov 23.  The number of scam calls I've received is ridiculous, I get as many as 20 a day now, TWENTY (I'm not displaying calls with no numbers here, I get a few of those too).  How many hundreds of calls do I need to get before it is considered harassment?  Phone company won't do anything about it, they want to sell me more overpriced crap.  I'll probably be switching to a VoIP service soon so I can have control over my line without getting ripped off.

Anyway, here's the nightmare of calls.  By the way, I don't owe anyone money, I've never had a student loan, I've never done business with "Conn's" or "SALLIE MAE", these calls are pure BS.  And they never leave a message when they manage to get the voice mail:

I don't know how much more I'll be posting, I think this list gives the idea and I simply can't keep up with it anymore.  I bought a new Panasonic phone that allows 250 blocked numbers and you can set it to not ring on the first ring before it blocks, which has helped save my sanity (I'm not posting the model number here so this isn't considered spam, but it's easy to find with a search).

Number 409.291.5864 is Conn's

This number called last night and again this afternoon. Last night they left no message, but today they left a message insisting that I call them back before 9 pm tonight. I have never heard of this company, Conn's Home Plus. They're an electronics and furniture store in Texas, I'm from Virginia. I have never done business with them.

409 2915864 this number keep calling every day 8 time in a row!!! Who is ANGELIKA MENDEZ?!!! THATS NOT ME!!! I WILL REPORT YOU GUYS IN CONSUMERAFFAIR..

This number and all subsequent numbers are conn's appliance collection department. If you have an outstanding debt they will hound you like an alien stepchild. Pay your bill or tell them to go feck off. Either one will give you peace of mind..

These people are complete incompetent morons.  They have called non-stop for the last three months.  I have blocked 20 of their numbers but they obviously have an unlimited supply as that has not helped.  They are in Texas and we are in California.  We have never done business with them and they are stalking us as if we owe them something, which we don't.  They are such inconsiderate [***] that they call at 6:00AM. Fortunately my ringer is turned low and off in the bedroom.  They can pound sand up a river.  How ironis the name is Conns........like con-artist.  The odds of us returning their call is the same as a Texas bull taking a dump on their from doorstep, and then getting struck by lightning.

It would appear from their BBB page that many others have a problem with this company since they have over 2,000 complaints.  But the BBB page does list the address for their headquarters.  Send them a certified, return receipt letter telling them to cease and desist calling you.  also let them know that it is against the law to contact you between the hours of 9:00 pm and 8 am your time.  Keep a log and photos of your caller id.  If they call you after receiving the letter, sue them.

Big A, Thank you for the information.  I went to the BBB website and will send them the certified letter as you suggested.  We have never purchased anything from them nor will we ever.  We are in California and they are in Texas so why would we.  They have called at least 80 times from all different numbers.  Fortunately I have the line going direct to voice mail so we are not bothered.
