No message just silence..very weird.

Thick accent, had my wife's first name, wanted to talk about problems with her computor.  We have no problems.

Caller never answers...just silence.  Our caller ID displayed "Out of Area" but the number is a MD #.  We've had our number for 18 years and have recently been floored with telemarketer calls. We finally blocked the number on our phone and will continue to block any more unwanted solicitations and weirdo's.

Called on answering maching like he thought I answered- had my name but didnt leave any message.

I have no clue who these people are, the name comes up with just a whole series of letters, not a real word.  They never leave a voice mail, and they always call during the dinner hour. ARGRGBSNIS MD.  I suspect they are probably one of those bottom feeding collection agencies who started calling after we had our number go public. Other information I have found is that this is apparently somebody who bought some very old Cingular accounts. Trying to collect on a 10 year old account that I actually paid off nearly 5 years ago.  I actually did answer another call last year because I was expecting a call from a DC area code and ended up with RCI (?)  I was told that deadbeats do not deserve protection by Statute of Limitation laws when I told "John" that even if I actually owed anybody money which I didn't, they cannot call and collect on debts past three years old.  These days, if I don't know you, you get the answering machine.

Left message: "Hello {my first name}, Hello" and then hung up

This number called tonight around 7:05 p.m.  Called me by name into my answering machine (Must not have realized it was an answering machine?  Even with the mechanical voice?  Idiots!)
The number listed 410-317-2054 and shows up as "Unknown Name".

This caller stated he was calling from the Sheriff's Office and in order to control cybersecurity, phising scams, etc., they have become active in this crime and were looking for donations.  Wanted to send me something through the mail.

Scam that leaves a barely audible voice mail with first name as distinguishable.  Claims to be with Maryland Sheriff's association.  Phishing scam.

They called and asked for me, i do not know this number ,

ARGRGBSNIS MD stands for armiger/gibson island, maryland.  and it is a maryland phone number!  i just received a call from this number and it just comes up as unavailable on my caller id.  i never answer these call...

Received a call tonight at 7:56pm with unknown name and through static they kept saying my name "Hello (my name)" Hello (my name) over and over again and then finally hung up.  I'm soooo sick and tired of all these scam calls!!!!! and apparently adding your name to the do not call list does not work.  I have also been receiving calls on my prepaid cell phone... Tell me how pathetic they are to go that far!!!!

I called the number after checking *69.  The guy answered and said he was from the Sherriff's Office and was trying to call to raise funds for investigating cybersecurity, etc.  Could I make a donation,  he would send me something in the mail, could I please help him.  I said no. (sept16)

Annoying calls, no messages, no answer when you call back.

This idiot called around 7pm.  I said hello 2x.  The jerk said, " you suck." Then hung up.  I tried to call person back to give them a piece of my mind, but the # just rings busy.  What a loser!!!

Another SCAM number from a burn phone or spoofed VOIP. Caller unidentified.  I don't bother with SCAM or unidentified caller's  - I use a Digitone Call Blocker from Digitone Communications to block any unwanted area codes from ringing my private home number.

Received a call on 3/27/2015 @ 6:39 PM and Caller ID showed Pasadena MD 410-317-2054 and since I don't know anybody in Pasadena MD, let it go to VM instead. I checked my voice mail and person kept on repeating "Hello...Hello....Hello...Hello", like I had answered my phone and they finally hung up.
I never answer my phone from numbers that I don't reconize, regardless who it's from.

I received a call from 410-317-2054 this evening.  Male caller, said he was calling for donations for the MD FOP.  Wanted my credit card number.  I said to send me something in the mail, cause I don't give out my card # to cold callers.  After I hung up, I called MD State Police and gave them the phone #.  I was advised that it was probably a scam, and that I was wise to not give my credit card info.  It showed up on my caller ID as Pasadena, MD.  Beware.
