- MarkWe got a call from a Joann Grier, area code from Maryland, and we live in PA! I did not answer since I had no clue who it was. No message was left so we figured it can't be that important. Upon more investigation into this number, turns out its a scam wanting to fix our computer! We are on the Do Not Call List, but that is worthless. We have put a tracker on our phone to calculate the number of times these idiots call. We will then turn it over to the phone company for further advice.

- MefromPAI did a Google check on Joann Grier from Maryland and she passed away in Nov, 2013. It appears these scammers are using the phone number of a deceased person. Shame on them.
- Skoozz| 3 repliesMicrosoft tech support. NOT. Tell them you are reporting them to the FCC or better yet tell them you own only Apple products and to get a real job.
- Caller: Scammers disguised as Microsoft
- MidNYteStorm replies to SkoozzUnfortunately this operation is based overseas in a country where our laws have little effect.
- CWI play with these guys. The first time they called I realized right away it was a scam. So after their statement about my computer I asked them which computer? They said your personal computer. I told him I had three so please tell me which one is infected. As he was hanging up I heard him say "why do they do this to me"? Ha!

- Erica replies to denial marksHow many rupees did you earn posting your shill drivel here? Come on, shills like you are so well known on this site that there's a freaking hall of shame for you. Flagging your barely literate shill post in hopes you return to your little boiler room and earn your money elsewhere. Pathetic.
- Gunnar replies to james AndersonYou're getting an early start today aren't you "denial marks/james Anderson"? It's just after 4:00 PM where you are in India. That's very early for an Indian scammer to start his shift. I guess you little fella's are getting pretty desperate. You're not going to be doing any better. The whole world is catching on to your scam.
Skeff Ett Liv!
Gunnar - sickofitHe called my dad's house twice today. Second time I had the good luck to get the phone. Thick accent. Hard to hear. Could hear other noises is background. Said he was providing a service call from windows in New York that my computer was sending out errors etc. What he did not know is that my dad does not even have a computer or cell phone with internet. I jerked him around for about fifteen minutes. Told him it was an old comouter that I needed to power it off then back on again. He said take your time. Ha. He kept telling me what to do. What to push....wwwwin31.us I think. Then I had went as far as I could go...he said what does it say on the screen and I kept saying tell me what its susposed to say...he finally said a green icon that said hard drive or something...I said yeah I see it. He paused and said mam you are making a fool of me. There is no green icon like that on your screen. I said making a fool. He said yes I am providing you a service call. And I said am I being disrespectful? He told me to go to h*ll and to ef myself and hung up on me. Me and my dad got a good chuckle for wasting his time. And peeing him off!
