This number, which has a local area code and exchange (Baltimore metro area), has been calling me on my landline around a dozen times a day. Today it called 10 times within 5 minutes. I've had this number blocked for a few weeks but all this calling could be considered a denial of service since it is tying up my phone even though I'm not hearing the incoming ring.
I decided to call this number back (on a seldom-used spare cellphone I own.)  A live person answered and said they were "Freedom Financial". When I said I was tired of getting the calls, the woman said I must have filled out an online application. (No I did not.) I hung up.
There are companies with similar names, so whether a "real" company has been flooding my phone with calls, or a fraudulent company has, I have no idea.
