Someone from this number called my mother-in-law.  Demanded my phone number and address, when she refused the lady told her it was a legal matter and extremely important she give this information to her but she still refused and the lady hung up.  My mother in law called my husband and he called this number back.  The lady on the other end did not identify herself, who she (might) work for, and just demanded his phone number and address.  She told him IF he would give this information to her she would pull up his file and tell him what it was about.  He refused and she told him it was in his best interest to give him this info.  He told no that if this was legit she would already have info and would not be so shady on telling what it's about.  What is this?  Is it legit and if so don't they have to tell you who it is and what it's about?  And NOT be rude, nasty, and demanding.  Anyone else ever get this kinda call?

Received 2 calls from 412-228-5159 on 6/18 and 6/30, and one each day on 6/24, 7/6, and 7/9.  I do not answer calls when I do not recognize who the caller is.  No message left for any of the above calls.  Receiving similar calls from the 412 area code for numbers 246-9750, 567-6036, and 567-2074.  Probably a total of 25 call from these numbers in the past month, never have a message left.  Probably the same outfit calling on all numbers.  Pain in the butt.

I see that the earlier entries on this forum are all from 2015 or earlier.  Well, this number is still in active use, because I am getting calls from it and other related numbers every day.  My former in-laws are also getting them, trying to reach me.  I would actually take the calls and find out what is going on, but every time I answer, there's no one there.  I can block the numbers, but that's no help to my in-laws, who are receiving them on a landline phone and can't block them as easily.

I have gotten a call from this number twice a day for months. My fiance has answered the phone many times and someone always hangs up. The area code is in Pa but I,m not. They have called anywhere from 8am to 9:15pm. I assume it is a bill collector but never get any information. So aggravating!!

They constantly call my cell phone and hang up when I amswer. Finally on their 3rd time calling today, the woman asked for my husband. I said he wasn't home and asked who was calling. She said Angela, like I should know who she was. She said she needed to know when he would be home. I asked if I could help her with something. She said she was from Diversified Adjustments and would call back.

These people keep calling me saying they want to talk to me but need parent permission and they call me 10 times a day in school and it's annoying

Turn the calls over to your parents. They should not be calling you anyway, if this is a legitimate debt collection issue involving a minor.

Has been calling since Dec 2018 about 3 days a week one or two times a day and varies the times. Hangs up after answering machine message ends and no one answers. Annoying, but the jokes on them as we'll never answer unknown callers and unrecognized numbers. Recommend that other people should do the same to stay clear of scammers and telemarketers. The Do Not Call List isn't effective against these scumbags.
