The ID from this caller came up as “APPLE” although I’ve never contacted Apple much less given them my private number.  Seems this caller with heavy India accent insists my ICloud has been compromised by a 3rd party hacker.  He asked all the scripted questions such as do I shop on line? or do I use my iPad at a public location?....yada yada yada.  But fear not!  Mr. IT will rush in to save the day...oh, yes he will!.....that i will be forever safe once he processes the “Apple Protection Plan” cure!   (I’m thinking “my hero has come to save this weak and delicate maiden”. My my! How will I ever repay you sir, for swooping in in the nick of time??!”)  Thinking he’s reeled in the biggest catch of the day, he asks if I’m close to any store that I can rush to purchase 2 Apple iTune gift cards.....both of course for $100 each.  He continues by informing me there is a series of numbers on the back of those cards, that I can readily have access to the balance to use any way I see fit...or just deposit it into my checking account.  “Sure, there’s a Walmart near me.”  He then asks for my cell phone number. I say I never give it out.  He inquires how many minutes would it take to drive there?  (I’m dying to keep a straight face and my composure by now.)  I advise him “Oh....about as long as it takes for you to figure out I’m not buying your BULLSPIT”.

Pretty much the same as the previous poster.  Caller ID shows Apple Inc. with some pitch about a data breach and I should contact them.  I received two calls like this minutes apart with different numbers.  Those numbers come back to what appears to be legitimate Apple stores in different locations out of my area.  Looks to me like they are spoofing numbers from real stores.  The callback number I got was 510-248-2427.  I couldn't identify that number.  I'm not responding and blocking them all.

Same as previous posters. I received 3 calls from  "Apple Store"  within a 2 hour period. Each time it was a different number. I blocked all 3.

3 calls in 45 minutes from 3 different numbers. All telling me to call the same 206 number. Annoying 🤬

We got a female robot caller saying that your Apple has been breached and asking for private information. I also reported to FTC website for FTC Complaint.

keep getting calls telling my apple products have been compromised...don't own any apple products except for apple pie and that ain't a problem.

This number keeps calling my home number-do not know how they got it. They keep telling me I need to call apple support advisor at 518-312-4937.

They probably didn't "get" your number but are simply calling all numbers in a given sequence.

Phone just rang.  Caller ID said "Apple Inc." but we have NO Apple Products, so I figured it was a scam  The call left a recorded message asking us to call them at their toll free number - but didn't say why.

I just received a call - that my Apple account had been breached - I don't have an Apple account - but I did call Apple Pay Center and notified them of this scam caller

Caller ID read “Apple Inc”.   Automated call said my iCloud had been compromised & to call the number provided. I went on Apple website & requested a call back.  The caller ID read simply “Apple” from the call back I requested.  I was informed Apple  doesn’t call account holders, they email.  To be sure the Apple Rep. & I reviewed my Apple accounts & all was well.

Same scam caller as above. Phone number from an Apple store in PA. Told him I had a Galaxy and the only pad I had was a Futon. He said it must be another Apple device, and I said I needed a recipe for apple dumplings and if he had a recipe my wife would like him to share it with me. He told me he was from CA. but I told him I think he's from Bangladesh or some Pacific Island in the Atlantic. He said something and then hung up.

Called on 5/13/19 at 9:27 AM caller ID said: Apple, Inc. left a half-intelligent message saying to call.

Have received 6 calls today.  Did not answer thanks to information posted on this site by others.  Thank you.

Two calls yesterday & four calls from this # today - leaves a message on vm in a VERY ANNOYING robotic-like voice that I must call back as my computer has been compromised.  Apple does not call.  This is a phone # of a store in PA.

Recording about iCloud breach included prompt to press 1 to speak with someone, so I did and when the guy got on the line I said over and over, "Steve Jobs.  Steve Jobs.  Steve Jobs.  Steve Jobs....."
