Received several calls stating they were from gateway recovery services attempting to collect debt on payday loan.

Yes, so far received 2 calls stating the 2nd one was the last time  they will try to contact and i will be forfeiting my rights and to please call that number back.  we have no unpaid debt.
SCAM!!!!!

I wish they would get their story straight about the so called loan I defaulted on. They even said they sent me something in march and now they will try and garnish my wages and take me to court.  What gets me is they are calling family members who I don't live with and I don't know how they got the number. These people need to be stopped.

I keep getting this call from a Lisa stating that a loan I had clear back in 2006 was never completed payment wise,and now I was going to be charged with federal evasion of payment on the loan and I could go to prison. She even called a friend whose name was co signed on loan for them to let me know I was being evasive and needed to call them right away or I'd be going to federal prison. They want $2000!! I don't have a job,haven't had one in four yrs,have no state help or unemployment to pay. Yet they still are demanding payment!! I checked with Credit Karma and it says the loan was closed and paid. So is this really a scam? She keeps calling and threatening.

Same!!!   I’ve never had a payday loan so idk where thier information is coming from!
