Said they were from merchant services, wanted to know if we accept credit cards at our business

He stated that he was credit card processing and wanted to speak to the owner.  I took the call as office manager.  As he identifiec himself, I informed him that our number is on a Do Not Call Registry and to add our number to the list he has available to him and to inform his boss.  He argued that we are not on the registry and informed me that he would not be consulting with his boss.  In fact, we have been on the Do Not Call Registry since October 2015.

your business is not allowed on the registry and no one calling your business needs to consult it. That was clearly explained when you signed up, but as usual you did not bother to read it.

Scammers wanted to process your credit card details.  Keeps calling and won't stop.
