Reverse lookup says Pittsburgh, PA area...

called my cell some pittsburg  weird

Recorded message said women's drug forum. Hung up because I'm not paying for them to use the minutes I purchase for my cell phone. Too bad the Do Not Call Registry is such a joke. Close them down and save the government some money! Doesn't work! Why waste the funds to leave it up and running?

I can't agree more.  The do not call registry was supposed to fine these illegitimate companies (or scam artists) up to $10,000 for illegally calling people (home or cell).  It's like everything else - unless laws are enforced, it is nothing more than "the fox watching the hen house!"  I can't tell you how much time I, myself have wasted reporting the 20 to 50 illegal calls per week to me (violating both state and federal laws).  I have spoken with numerous CSR's at the Do Not Call Registry that have (time and time again) flat out told me that, "nothing will be done to any company/scamster until they have enough complaints."  Wonder what enough is, huh?  Maybe a billion or so per company/scamartist?  I suspect that the complaints  will never be enough to even fine them (let alone shut them down), as this DNCall Registry is in itself a scam on the public, at large to validate their very existence (and paychecks); and make all of us Americans feel "all warm and cuddly" about how much our own government is doing to protect us, and our constitutional rights.  I haven't even gotten started here, yet.

I received a call from this number saying press any diget if I want to stop these calls.  I just hung up, but what kind of scam is this??

This number called me 4 times in a row! In the same minute!!!!! It's like as soon as it went to voicemail, they hung right up and called right back! Annoying!

I just got the same call on my cell phone.  Didn't even answer it since I did not recognize the #.  They didn't leave a msg and I'm not going to waste my time or minutes!

Telemarketer called. Never answer any calls I don't kmow

Count me in. Just got a call from this number. Maybe my DNC kicked in on a delay of some sort, since I was about to hang up because there was that telltale dead air right before some telemarketer comes on the line. Before I could hang up though the line was disconnected.

Did some research on the internet

got a call on land phone few minutes ago - Caller ID said R2J2 Company.  Thankfully, I have no announcement message on phone, VM not activated and have messages feature turned off.  These idiots cannot leave me a message.  One glance at Caller ID and I don't answer.

called left no message but another number with the same caller id called earlier in the week..not in my area code

I am an attorney and a law suit will be filed. I know where they are located and now that I have the number a law suit can be file we are in the No call list and it is illegal to call our state when we are on that list.

Two call within a few minutes. Of course, when I call that number, no one answers.
