Called landline and a woman asked for my husband by name on message machine.  Did not pick up as this was an unidentified caller.

Received 1 call on Saturday, and another on Sunday to my cell. I did not pick up, they did not leave a message.

Called back from blocked line, they claimed to be from Wells Fargo for Proxy voting.  But left no message no answering machine.

I answered and this is what it sounded like they were calling about as well. Seemed pretty sketchy and the dude knew what town i lived in. Was a live person

they could not pronounce my name - therefore I knew it was a scammer

Called twice and asked for me by name. I did not reply and they hung up

My phone listed this number as "Potential Spam"

Second call today Now blocked

Scam all the way

Seems like a lot of guessing and still nobody really knows anything.
Missed calls could be from anyone.
Scammers, telemarketers, debt collectors, pranksters, surveys, notifications, alerts, wrong number, etc. Some use neighbor spoofing so it appears that an incoming call is coming from a local number, or spoof a number from a company or a government agency that you may already know and trust. If you answer, you can find out who it is or what they want. Just be aware some may use scam scripts to try to steal your money or valuable personal information, which can be used in fraudulent activity.
