I've been getting these every day; no message.  I have a voicemail message that says "if your number is blocked, restricted, or unknown to me I won't answer so leave a message".  They don't.

This number showed up on my caller I.D. As Athem Blue Cross/Blue Sheild. A message was left telling me I needed more testing and to call them back @ 855 222-8921. I called them back and they went on to say I needed a pap smear blah, blah, blah. It was all computer generated, never talked to a real person. I then called the 1 800 # on the back of my card, talked to a real person. She said they would never call the house, a letter would be sent out. What ever you do, don't give out any information!!!

Got a voicemail that gave me an 888# to call back....no information other than that and to "pass along"

CAlled twice from this #-says an important message from my Health insurace provider.. Im not buying it!!

Just got a call which left an automated message on my voicemail saying it was "Anthem BCBS, calling with some important information and to help make sure you're completely up to date with your care. Please call us back toll free at 855-222-8921."

These days I get SO many calls from SO many different bogus callers, and I mean several EVERY day, that I no longer answer the phone if I don't know for sure who it is, and now I ALWAYS Google the number (And I do NOT return a call from an automated message).  I'd say about 99% of them turn out to be scammers. Getting this kind of call on both home and cell now, too. Seems like just this past year there's been an epidemic EXPLOSION of calling. It's MADDENING!!!!!

My mother just received a phone call from this number (412-773-8572) stating that they were from her insurance company and needed to update some information.  They had the name, and all they asked was the date of birth.  She gave it to them and they told her to eat her fruits and vegetables.  That was it.

SCAM??  They wanted a DOB for some reason...

Your mom should get her credit report quickly. They are probably going to try to steal her identity. They had her name and she gave them her date of birth. Now they have everything they need. She should be very careful and watch her credit carefully.

If you receive a call from this number 412-773-8572  you must be an Anthem member.  It is a reminder call typically about mammograms or other health screenings covered by your health plan and is part of your benefits package called "360 Health".  It is a legitimate call and it is OK to return the call.  It is not a scam, just a part of the increasing mandates placed on the insurance companies by the ACA - Affordable Care Act or Obamacare (which is a scam).

We also got a call from this number at my home asking that someone call back and give information to update insurance files.We will certainly not be doing this at all.This is just another scam of some sort.I just love how people in this country continue to pay taxes but for some reason it does not go to help we the people or to stop fraud like this.We must stop our tax dollars from being sent to and funneled to another country just because of their lobby in washington dc.

They called claiming to be BlueCross needing information from me. Bluecross changed their name to Anthem years ago.   weird, they asked for me by name and my name is not on our phone bill.  Needless to say not calling back.

Blue-Cross Insurance Company(who is my health insurance company) urging me to call my doctor to schedule preventative screenings. Isn't this my business not theirs?

I received a call on my cell from Anthem automated - 412-773-8572.  They wanted to make sure I was up to date with my information to Anthem... to make sure who they were talking to and wanted the last 4 of my social.  I thought this was odd because I have just been going through some medical testing and everything I get from Anthem is through the mail and I am sooooooo up to date.  
I hung up on this call....Scam
