Same here just got 3 back to back calls on my cell and then a call at my office. I called them back and said I was an officer with the local police department and that the phone call was being recorded they hung up faster then I could say that. They're ridiculous!! Shady A** people... I've been calling them back to see how they like it but now the phone just rings no answer

I just received the same call about these people claiming to be a law firm. I paul thats person who keeps calling me that I do really work for a collections law firm and we do followed those unfamiliar practices that he is talking about being arrested for not paying a payday loan. NOT TRUE. Im going to call the FTC and the BBB to report these. Im not sending these people a damn thang.

I reported them to my local law enforcement and to the law enforcement in the town of MA where the call comes from.  I got a call back from MA authorities within 5 minutes.  He informed me to hit *60 which blocks their call or *57 which puts a trace on the line.  I called them back to tell them I was onto them and he said he is going to make my life a living hell.  These jerks knew SO much about me.  I was practically in tears!  Now I know better.

I just got the same call be the number they called from was 413-628-1340 and he told me that I will be arrested on Friday and then he changed it to Monday for a payday loan from American cash how can I do a payday loan and I just got a job 2 months ago and having been working since 3 week ago.

Received multiple calls today from 413-628-1340 claiming I owe a payday loan and will get arrested on Monday.  I asked for the paperwork to prove I received the loan.  They said give me your fax number.  I refused and told them to give me the information.  I NEVER applied for a payday loan and when I googled the number and name of the law firm in Ashfield Massachusetts there was no such firm and the only thing associated with this numbe is the thread of messages.  I can't believe people can be such scam artists.  It sickens me.  To think they try and steal hard earned money and stress people out.  Who should I be reporting this to?

These people (413-628-1340) have called me from two different numbers in two sections of the country . Marysville Wa and Ashfield Ma claiming I was Oswaldo Clay and that I owed money on an outstanding payday loan and I needed to fix it or I was to be arrested. Because of these people I have placed my phone on the DNC registry and am having them delt with that way.

My best guess is that they are using a hack to change their phone numbers.

Called a law office in that area and talked to them they say their is no Slate and Davis Law firm in their area.

To add : Called the Mass. Att. General. They need a physical address and I am not gonna pay for a reverse search . Called FTC and filed a complaint. Everyone who gets called by these scumbags needs to do this.

These people are nothing but Arab terrorists and roaches!! Been calling my cell and work non stop threatening to have me arrested @ my job and throw me in jail unless I give them $178. Really??!! Between the voicemails and the posts here, their attempted scare attic speeches are all exactly the same and all ending with "I wish you luck"!! Lmao dude. Do not them scare you into giving them anything!! There is not a damn thing they can do to you, especially since they're not even a real law firm!! They're nothing but a pathetic joke and the FTC is well aware of this. Almost can't wait for them try calling back, they're the ones that are gonna need luck!!!!!
