Got a call from this number with the caller ID "LOCAL CALL BACK". Could be a political call but I do find this suspicious and will report to the federal and state do not call list since I am on both.

The caller left a message on my voice-mail. After a series of seven tones that sounded like it was ringing a phone on the line, a male voice picked up and said "Hello is Ann Something there?" and immediately hung-up. From the way it sounded I think an auto-dialer called then rang a telemarketer to talk when my voice-mail picked up. This is a guess on my part. I have no idea who this Ann person he asked for might be there is nobody at my number even remotely close to that name.

Spoofed Numbers: Caution, 414-395-2982 is a "spoofed" number, which means that whoever called you "tricked" your caller ID to display an incorrect phone number. Telemarketers do this so you cannot complain, but they failed.  File a complaint.

This number appears on my caller ID at least once a day.  I don't answer it, although it appears it's coming out of Milwaukee, which is where I work.  I don't want these darn calls anymore!

If this really is a spoofed number, why would any reasonable consumer think that this is a legitimate company to do business with?  I think these companies need to pay their CEOs top dollars to figure out how to make money without scamming people and pissing people off.

Received a call from 414-395-2982, with no message. While whitepages.com was not able to do a reverse lookup for this number, I found some unsettling online comments about it. One entry was at WhoCallsMe.com, where Trista writes on 11-19-09: When I called the number back I got a message stating that it was the Wisconsin Professional Police Association and their fundraising efforts are now underway. Hmmm...

The other found in a Barron County Sheriff's dispatcher report for 5-05-09 at http://www.zwire.com/site/news.cfm?BRD=1134&d ... 5&PAG=461&rfi=9: 5:13 p.m., Chetek woman reports someone just called her sister and said they were soliciting money for the sheriff's department and were almost threatening. They said, "Do you want your house watched, so no one breaks in?" and things like that. Dispatch found the number the call came from was 414-395-2982, which was disconnected. Dispatch will pass information on.

If you get a call and they ask your name, tell them you got the wrong number. I believe they are fishing for names and numbers. I answered a guy said Ms.(Last Name) after I said yeah, I could hear him typing and then he hung up.

Numerous calls from this number.  We are on both the US and WI Do Not Call List

We receive calls from 414-395-2982 daily, at all hours. Even after asking them to remove our number from their phoning list, they continue to call.  These people are relentless.
Maybe I'll ask for their home phone numbers and call them when I get up for work at 4:00 a.m.
I've gotten to the point where I simply pick up and hang up as soon as I see the number on caller ID.

Enough already!!  Have an answering machine...and they do not talk!!  It is truly annoying!!  If they
finally would talk, there is no way I'd pick up anyway...so they should get a clue and stop calling!!

Register and than file violations with the federal government;   Don't be mad just got even.!

This caller is harassing. Please do something about it

Very annoying !!!!!!

Keeps calling weekly during evening, does not leave message.  Pretty much have given up answering my phone anymore because of this idiot.

I got a call from this number, Let the voice mail pick up but no message.  Call ID says local call back.
