they called me threatening to have me arrested at work tomorrow if I don't give them $498. I am too smart for them and immediately hung up and called the sheriff's depart and they investigated it, declared the number was actually oringinated from Somalia and moved the case up to the FBI. If they call you, close your bank accts, report it to all 3 major credit bureaus, and change your phone number. yes, this may be a little costly but it will protect you!

I searched this number, because a customer at the company I work
for called in and stated the same thing. It is a scam, they received
your information from a website where you applied for a loan.
They have all of the most personal information you could imagine.
SSN, DOB, Checking acct numbers, email addresses, physical
addresses. Cover your bases, get your checking information changed,
contact the soc sec administration to let them know an unauthorized
person has your ssn. Most importantly, DO NOT give them any money.
They are fraudulent. And think about it, have you ever had a company
tell you if you don't pay them they'll have you arrested?! No.
Cover your bases and move on.

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

this guy chris walker from american cash is asking for money from me too! wants me too pay 100. every week until im paid in full he has some one call from a different number all the time waits a few mins then gets on who is guy leaving me messages like this?

I have had numerous phone calls from some guy who can't even speak English. The first call indicated that I was a suspect in what I have no idea. The second phone call he left a message that a "situation" was going to unfold on me. The third call he stated that there was a criminal case pending against me, and gave my personnel information to a babysitter!!!. I have blocked his number from my home phone and contacted the police. They say I can get him for harrassment. I also applied for a loan on line and I believe this is a scam!!!! Next time if he calls from a different number I will tell him to go "f" off. Bring it on!!!!!

I have received several calls from these people. At my place of work and home. I checked them out and when the man called back I pretty much told him I am not a dumb American and if I was in Federal trouble which he had stated on my voice mail, that our Federal government wouldn't have someone that could not speak english calling me. Then the guy started with sexual jestures, and his voice changed...asking me how much I charge for sex. This has gone to far. I will turn these people over to anyone and everyone, just let them keep calling, my answering machine records them just fine.

These people call me and they say they are from a law firm And that I'm going to jail for fraud....why can't these people be stopped?they even call me at work and have a lot of my personal info

Have found something they don't like. All you have to do is keep calling them back . It works I also have all my friends doing the same thing . Just be prepared to be treated like crap. I love it so lets all FIGHT BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
