Caller ID said "Nate Alexander" but the caller had a thick Indian accent, obviously calling from a boiler room in India. He said he was from Microsoft (ya, right) and told me my computer is infected with malware. Tried to keep him on the phone as long as I could, asking him how my computer got "infected" and he said EVERY site I ever visited has infected it. LOLOL! When I broke out laughing he hung up on me. Do people really fall for this???

Heavy Indian accent lying and saying that he was from Microsoft.  Told him that I was reporting him to the police.  He hung up.

Just got a call from 1-414-962-1510, caller ID said "Nate Alexander". No message left, and thanks to this website I can add this scam artist to my BLOCK list!!! Bye bye "Nate Alexander" :)

Called ID said Milwaukee, WI.  I didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer it and let it go to answering machine.  They hung up without leaving a message.

Another jerk with an Indian accent saying our Microsoft computer was infected. Hung up when we told him we have Macs

Got a call from this number just this minute, and thanks to this information I did not even bother to answer. Thank you for your write-ups.

Same number, same caller id and same BS

We have been getting calls from Milwaukee, WI. for a while. We do not answer any calls we don't know.  This morning this one came through with a name attached...Alexander, Nate.  As per our usual custom, if we don't know it, we let it ring..either leave a VM or it isn't important enough, right?   I use this site pretty frequently to verify scammers.  Off to block another fool.  I feel bad for the older folks that fall for these scammers though.  =(

Just received my 2nd call from this number but this time the caller ID read 12022010484.  I searched that number and found that it's related to an IRS scam...at this rate, who needs a phone?? It seems to only entertain these folks who don't have real jobs.

Called me too. India accent. I knew right away is was a scammer and asked him, You starting this sh*t again?" I just laughed at him and told him he was an a$$hole! He hung up!

I've gotten two phone calls from this number. Thick Indian accent,
Scam caller: "Hello, this is a call about your computer."
Me: "That's nice. Do not call here again."
"oh, no, sir you must go through this with me"
"No, I must not. Do not call here again."
"Your computer is infected.."
"Do not call here again. What words are you not understanding? Do Not Call F-ing Call Here Again. Am I being clear enough for you?"
"Click."

Indian accent, same as others.

Same call tonight.  He said (after a long silent pause). "I am calling about a problem with your computer"
I replied "I don't have q computer. The my you good bye"

"Milwaukee" just called me from this number. I don't answer calls I don't recognize. He's obviously the same guy others are complaining about. A couple days ago I did answer a call from "Anonymous" because I have a friend who prefers not to let his number go "public," and it turned out to be the thick Asian-accented guy (he called himself "John from Microsoft") warning me about hackers. I told him he was lying, having experienced this same thing about a year ago, then hung up.

Next time, I'm going to say I have special equipment that is tracing the call and the next sound he hears may just be an armed drone seeking his location. These people are sick.

I got the same I.D. number a few minutes ago. let it go to answer machine and they hung up.

Just got a call from this number. Indian accent saying a problem with my computer. He said it was infected and that I needed to follow some steps with him. I hung up the phone and a minute later he called back and said he was disconnected. I told him that he had called a place of business and the said sorry and hung up. Pretty much the same call as all the others here.

Same number as above - did not answer- let it ring through to vm , but concerned about volume of strange calls similar to this!  Is it possible for them to connect to your computer via wifi if you answer, or if your answering machine picks up?

Thankfully, I didn't hear the phone ring...no message...and went to this site.  Changed his name, eh?  What a knob
