Caller claimed to be Officer Julie Smith from the IRS

Law enforcement has been been warning people in Calif about fraudulent calls and fake calls from the "IRS" demanding People hire an Attorney to pay the alleged debt owed. It is the fakest robot call I've ever heard. They threatened collection would take place in court. I laughed.

Received a message from Smith indicating she is from IRS and urgent that I return call before action is taken

Received a message from Julie Smith stating not to disregard the message she left and repeats the number two times. Funny it ends with a good bye and take care. No details of what to take care of though.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

I recieved a call from Julie Smith from the IRS this morning 12/15/14 at 9:35am. Beware it's a SCAM!

We received a call this morning as well.  When we called back, an Indian man was asking us about whether we were on disability.  He told us to call the customer service number for the IRS.  I think this is a scam.  

Got a robot call and called them back, they wanted to speak to my husband regarding hiss 2013 income taxes. I asked what the problem was, they said that they did not know who I was and could only speak to my husband. I assured them that we filled our taxes together. They said they only could speak to my husband/was he there?? I told them no and they hung up on me. I called them back, they hung up on me again, Then I called from my cell phone after looking them up onn line and told then in many 4 letter words that they are bogus and of course they hung up on me. I am going to keep calling them all day to piss them off, just as they have done to me.

I am having so much fun calling asking for the Julie Smith that left me a message today. I have asked the Indian Dude for his IRS Agent ID number...of Course he hangs up on me...BIG SCAM!!!!!!

The group of criminals are calling people at their cell phones with messages from fake IRS operator. The number is (415) 234-9735.

My client received a call from one Julie Smith claiming to be with the IRS.  I called the number and it went right to voicemail but the person who's voicemail it is didn't identify him/herself in any way.  I have worked with the IRS for 10+ years on a very regular basis, and they will NEVER call you until you have spoken to them and given them your phone number where they can reach you.  They will send you a whole ream of paper worth of letters before they will call you for no reason.  Sounds like a big scam to me.  People beware.

I recieved call from this number, I dont under stand how they can do this. Advising me not to disgard this call?? Really

Received two messages and when I called back it was an Indian girl with an accent who picked up. She said that she has an affidavit to read and not to interrupt while she's reading, that any questions is to be asked at the end. Apparently I was going to get arrested, my passport and s.s. card will be invalid for 10 years, and any mortage or loan with be taken away and rejected. That the court has issued an order for my arrest for fraud. That the IRS has been doing some investiflgations against me and found some fraudulence on my returns. Asked for a cc or debit card pymt to stop the arrest process and when I told her to send me the papers and that the court has never sent me any court orders and that I will NOT pay her anything. She screamed "then you're going to jail"....  Be careful it's a total SCAM! IRS don't call people! Can't believe there's such evil fraudalent people with such dark souls out there. Really wished that chick was in front of me. I bet it would have been her last attempt.

There are not enough derogatory words in any language to describe these kind of  bottom feeders total scam !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

Julie Smith claimed to be IRS agent left message threatening arrest if I did not return her call

This is NOT the IRS so anyone who thinks they need to return the call immediately, know that you don't. I told the guy not to call again or I would involve attorneys and he started singing to me on the phone and talking about his c*ck - I'm being 100% serious. Now they're calling me and hanging up when I answer. I'm blocking number. But I repeat - this is a SCAM!

This is the biggest scam I've heard of.  I got 2 calls yesterday, one today   I have NOT returned the calls and don't intend to.  Julie Smith is a busy person calling all of us.  She needs to get an honest life.
