Called and reported being form the IRS. Hung up after

Called leaving a threatening automated call advising that myself or my Criminal Attorney of record needs to call immediately as a legal position notice has been signed under my name by the IRS for tax fraud and tax evasion. If we don't call all they can do is wish me luck as this matter unfolds on me. Made me crack up laughing!!! Do people REALLY fall for this BS?!

I received the same message.  scam!  They use other numbers too.

I got the same message but it made me angry that they pretend to IRS.

THEY should be arrested for fraudulently claiming to be with a department of our United States government.

The call came from +1-202-506-9240. They left a message telling me to call 1-415-251-5152. They stated that they were a federal agent on my voice mail. They said I would be charged with a criminal offense. They left no name and did not say who or what organization they were calling from. These types of calls need to be stopped and criminal charges should be filed against them. They have probably scammed many many elderly and possibly put some in the hospital. How dare they threaten people and scare them. I know my grandmother who is 95 would panic and probably give them personal info over the phone.
