I received 3 phone calls from this number on 2/18/15. They did not leave a message. I answered a call the next day from the same area code 415-413-2311 because I thought they might be the same person. It was a woman with a heavy accent asking to email me articles that might be interesting to managers or directors at my university.

Scam call offering free quotes on construction projects. CID number is only 7 digits which means they have a program to assign a local area code to fool people to answer their call.

Bogus number. Scam.

Just another contractor scammer breaking the law

I received a call from this number today, but when I answered, there was only silence, then they hung up. When I tried to call back, I got the operator, saying the caller was unavailable. I’ve received calls similar to this where they hang up on me, but it makes me curious what is happening here. What do these spammers want?
