Did not answer call from unrecognized number; no message left ????

Called and didn't leave a message

Caller I.D. for this number is Not in Use.  Person hung up when I answered.  I called the number and a guy answered and said Thanks for calling back!  Proceeded to say he was calling for the faternal order of police.  I hung up on him.  They call every day!!

Just called. I think it's almost amusing how someone calls from a number that clearly says that the number is "No Longer Used" and expects any positive outcome.

Caller ID "NOT IN USE".  Did not leave a message when my machine answered.

Same "NOT IN USE" - no VM as well.

Same "NOT IN USE" - no msg left on VM.
Maybe they were giving a trip to Afghanistan for FREE dental care, camel and carpet rides?
I guess I lost out? Maybe the next time......

I just got a call from them saying they are calling for the order of police as well. I hung up after they asked for a money pledge.

Called at 3:41 PM - NOT IN USE = unintelligible message left.  If they say they are representing the FOP, they are pretty much lying through their teeth.  This BS is one of the oldest scams around.  There  have been instances wherein the police HAVE used telemarketers BUT the actual amount that goes to the police is somewhere around 5 CENTS for every dollar these [***] collect.

Google Voice says "missed call" - which means the caller hung up on challenge. Will block.

Received at least two calls from the 415-363-5601 number, didn't answer the first time answered it just now.  Nobody there, then it hung up.  I'm going to block it...probably a robocall from a telemarketer.

Called twice and both blocked by nomo.  I hate these guys.  I don't think it is a real charity.
