i receive calls from this number....how do i get them to stop???  i never answer their calls!!!!

It's an online education program...a sales call.

this # was tagged as an online college on another site. i have been deluged with missed calls with no message this weekend

Caller ID shows "Online College" and the caller asked for Jasmine.  There are other so called colleges/ education scams calling who also asked for Jasmine.  My guess is that "Jasmine" gave out a phone number, any number (which happens to be ours), and now we are reaping the rewards.  My husband answered, and the caller was told that "Jasmine" is unknown at this number, the number they called is on the Do Not Call Registry (which won't mean beans if the number was volunteered to them), and to stop calling, remove the number from their robot.  All this after we tamed the debt collectors looking for the stooges that had our phone number years ago!

called and pressed 2 and they removed me from the calling list...AWESOME now ill wait and see if i get another call

Agreed it is some college or online application thing.  I pressed 2 as stated in another post to have my # removed.

This number and a "sister" number both come from something called a peerless network--this one from san francisco, the other from new york. No name or message left from either number.

The same call as above only they have called me using 20, yes 20, different phone numbers, each number twice. Always an online college registry. The area codes are listed as 415,609,506,408,404,805,314,312,324,302....unreal

I get several calls from different numbers all the time. I call each of them back by blocking my number. They have the option to remove your number from their calling list. The surprising thing is, each of the different numbers have the exact same freakin lady telling us to press #2 to be removed. WHAT THE HECK. Damn solicitors.

They will keep calling you from different numbers... I' did this with three different numbers today and it's all the same people... it's a 415, 408, and 404 area codes so far...
