SCAM ARTISTS!!  Call supposedly comes from San Francisco, but everyone has a thick accent.  They say you have applied for an online loan.  Really?  I think not.  I've been receiving calls from this number for over a week now. <sigh>

It's actually fun when you get a Google Voice number and you call them back with that number because they can't figure out who you are since that number isn't in their database.  I just keep calling them back.  They answer the phone with a "hello" instead of a business name or a person's name.  Be careful - and do not call them back if you can't do it with a number that they can't find.  They offer a $5,000 loan to be paid back at $299 per month for 36 months.  WOW!!!!  That's $10,764 to pay back the loan in just three short years.

Randomly got a phone call today while I was browsing the internet on my phone.  Hit the end button, as I didn't recognize the number and I was in the middle of something.  Vmail was actually left.  It's a computer talking, and it must have started talking the second my vmail greeting started as it is in mid sentence and I only have 9s of recording, but it says "on disbursement of the loan, call us back on our department number at 415-363-5644."  Definitely didn't apply for any loans recently, so its a total scam.

I received the same message, when will all this nonsense stop. I mean technology should be used in a beneficial way not towards trying to scam that one in a billion individual,  I just don't understand who would ever fall for this Juvenal attempt of thievery. I sometimes answer and tell them to hold on for a moment and basically just walk away and leave them hanging. Time is money, they waste my time so I waste their's.

You need to get out more. Don't you realize that half of the US population is below average intelligence? And I am not even defining what I mean by average !!

Got the same call about the loan of 5,000. I just want to make sure they're not actually getting any information from me. I recently started looking for jobs and I'm pretty sure i know what website is causing all these problems, but it's annoying when you companies make you become a part of some backwards website.

Its been happening to a lot of people. They are either scammers or robots on the phone. Ive been getting many phone calls from many random places-most from california. Its best to inform the police incase something occurs in the future and not respond to the calls either.
