Someone called ask me to call them immediately or with my lawyer before further action is taken

They call and call and call it's so annoying!! They call all our phone lines. Something has to be done about this. I've reported it to the local police and nothing.

Called my sister and left a threatening message for me to call back. Did not leave a Company name, case number or say the normal Debt Collector speech that they legally have to say. Ann Smith was the so called name.

They call several times a day leaving threatening messages. The number is out of San Francisco. Why will nobody help rid these callers? If you report to police, the problem still continues. Who do u turn to now? Somebody help PLEASE!!!!!!!

This scammer called my mom asking for my social security number and wouldn't give the name of a company or their name either.

You could get a private investigator of they're really bothering you a lot or just use the internet to hunt them down and start telling them stuff of you want. Or do nothing. It's not like they can do anything to you unless you give them what they're asking for.

Calling making threats

Threatened legal action on my phone number for one of my tenants in a voicemail.  Asked for them or lawyer to call them back.

They called my daughter in CO  from a phone number 314 230 1568. An automated machine left a message saying that she was being called because of a filed complaint about me. then they gave a number to call back of 415-449-9986.

Thats messed up.

this is a fake debt collection company that uses parts of your identifying info, like the last four of your SSN number, in an attempt to scare you into paying an inflated payday loan debt. Most of these are not even real debts and use illegal scare tactics such as threatening jail, wage garnishments, ect. to try and scare you into paying. You do not go to jail over owing money, except for child support. There is most likely, no debt, they just gleaned your info from another website or from hackers and want you to give them money. If they are calling you, you don't owe any money. Make a report to your state Attorney General's office and the FTC. Do not report to the BBB because they are also worthless and have no power whatsoever. You can get back at these people like I do, call them incessantly. Over and over and over and over again. Waste their time! They are an illegal operation. What are they going to do? Call the police? I think not.

So exactly who is "these people"?  Telling us the name of the company they are using would be extremely beneficial to others.

I got the same thing. They call & say theres a complaint & that you or your legal representative needs to call back before further action is taken they leave a complaint # 234231. They call from a 415-449-9986 #  , about a loan. I've never taken a loan out nor do I have a bank acct.
