they said they were from the IRS and to call back.  NOT!

this is the 2nd call I've received stating time sensitive and from the IRS.

Said they were from IRS

I called them back and Robert Petterson answered....  He did not sound like he was from this country USA he sounded like he was from East India ....Said I owed the the IRS money....but when I called back to get clarity on the situation the same guy picked up ....I told him my name and asked him what the pending litigation was against me....he hung up the phone on me I called back again three times and I got  and got put on a instant hold with  East Indian music before they even answer the call....is the IRS going to outsource such serious things to other countries what are your thoughts

Called back and spoke with David so my guess is they are changing names. I then called IRS to verify information and report the scam. Which everyone needs to do so these people get caught!

Call your state's Attorney General office of Consumer Protection- this is the only way info gets passed state to state.

Called them back because I do have some taxes I owe from a previous year. Man with very thick Indian accent, saying his name was John Miller. First he read off some weird allegation of tax fraud, and hung up on me. I called back and when I started questioning him, he started screaming and saying I would be arrested in 30 minutes lol.  Go to www.pigta.gov

I find that if you call them back and make fun of them, they will curse you and change their number.(or block you)
