Called my landline at 8:20 PM. Woman with strong foreign accent started speaking but her cell phone reception was terrible. I wanted so badly to play along & waste her time but I had to hang up.

Called around 6-7pm EST. Did not answer and they did not leave a VM.

Robocall - says you qualify for 0 percent interest on all your credit cards. Not worth picking up the phone. Its a scam. Block if you can.

Scam. Tried to get credit card info.....i played them and gave wrong info.

No message. Presumably robocalling numbers in Ottawa

seems like new scam in the making. Rang few bells and hangup

When I received a call from this number, my phone displayed a faked local phone number where the caller name would normally be displayed, in addition to the actual origin phone number of 415-690-2195.  This was an obvious attempt at "neighbor spoofing", which involves the scammer configuring a robocaller to use the same first six digits (area code and exchange) of a recipient's phone number in an attempt to increase the probability that someone will answer the call instead of screening a call from an unrecognized out-of-area phone number.

Obviously this number is NOT trustworthy.  Strongly recommend adding it to your blocked phone numbers list and report it to your government's telecommunications oversight agency.

This number called me this am and the computer voice message said I had to call another number about “a legal case” and they would provide details when I called...not going to call it, especially after checking in about the number from this site! Thanks for posting your experiences!!

called and left voicemail stating that I need to contact them to claim my money from Apple. I don't have anything to do with  Apple.  They've called me from an 855 number has well. It's a robocall.

SCAM robocall Fake IRS lawsuit

Yes! They just called me and said “Attempt to avoid initial appearance before the magistrate judge or exam jury for a federal criminal offense which is against your name”. Then gave me a different number to call back.

I got this number called 30 mins ago with an id as L.Lam and left no messages!  is it a scam call again!!!

Recording, saying they were from the computer maintenance company I hired. That they were going out of business and I was due a refund. But I never paid anyone for computer maintenance. I get this call from a variety of phone numbers. This is a SCAM.

Robo call saying I owe money to IRS

Called and said my MicroSoft account had expired.

Leaves digital recording that they have been trying to reach me, call 323-522-5526, clearly a scam, especially as it is 6 am in the morning there and 9 here, really!

Got the same robocall about an IRS lawsuit.  Added to my blocker caller list.

The reception was so bad I could barely understand a word this woman was saying but she said something about appearing before a judge and that they could help me if i called them back. Again, the reception was so horrible i couldn't even hear the number she wanted me to call. Sounded suspicious especially since the first part of the message was cut off so it was probably just a robo call

The first time is never called it was an automated call that I had suspicious activity against my social security number and to call this number or Court action would be taken I don't remember the number they told me to call. I then called the initial number back and they tried to sell me a trip to the Bahamas thought that was funny so I called it back again then they try to give me a Walmart card $400 all I had to do was pay the 495 fee on my credit card and give them a credit card number when I started to tell them that I believe they are a scam number and please take me off the call list they hung up on me. By this time I was agitated and called back the gentleman on the other line again tried to sell me something that required a small fee on my credit card if I would please just give them the number as I proceeded to tell him again that they are scam the man raised his voice and begin shouting at me so I hung up. I received a call day before stating that I had fraudulently misled information on my taxes and it sounded like the very same gentleman and once he raised his first I almost knew for a fact that it was

Robot call and couldn’t understand most of what he said until near the end when I heard Apple support.  I wonder how whoever decides which particular scam they’re going to use.
