I received two voicemail messages about a serious federal criminal matter, need to call 415-746-6086 so they can help me before a federal magistrate judge. Clearly a scam. .   .   .   I hate getting unwanted calls. These two messages filled my voicemail box. Very annoying.

I keep getting calls from this number - it's a sxam.

Also in Michigan. 2 calls from a Georgia phone number (678-608-3557) in less than 2 hours
I am in deep trouble with a Federal Magistrate, and I should call them immediately  at 415-746-6086.
This loser is now on my blocked call list.

In-laws received call from this number.  With their limited English, they thought that they heard that their daughter was in trouble or in an accident.  I told them to not give out any information.  A neighbor of theirs called the number and discovered and confirmed than it was a scam.

Received 2 calls within minutes of each other basically the same story as everyone else - I had to call immediately regarding an "enforcement action" by the US Treasury.  Person identified themselves as Steve Mafin and had an accent.

Ditto. He called 4 times in a row today and left the same message. Isn't this illegal?

Same scam call received today with caller phone id as (678-608-3557) but with this 415 callback number. How many people will they bilk with this one and why is the government so lax on stopping this kind of thievery?

I just got 2 vmail about the same topic. What a loser?

3 phone calls from "Steve Martin".  First gave a call back number of 347-828-9629. Second 2 calls with callback number 415-746-6086.  Both with "an enforcement action executed by the US Treasury, which they will help us with, that requires us to appear before the Magistrate judge".

Three calls from this number so far, threatening legal action, and a call back so they can "help us help you".  The guy had a foreign accent. Tried calling the origin number and I got just a strange tone, haven't called the call back number.

4 calls yesterday, 2 today from 678-608-3557 with the same story as above, Steve Martin, serious trouble with Treasury Dept. call 415-746-6086.

I'm getting calls from 678-608-3557 incessantly!  Like four in 15 minutes.  Please............I work swing shift and they keep waking me up.  Let me sleep!

Same as all the above. It's a recording from steve malfin, treasury dept. same number 1-415-746-6086.
Has called 6 times in the past 3 hours.  I answered 2 of them due to my buisness. What a pain!!

3/19/15 i received a call from 4 different numbers with 4 different area codes and left this # to call back 415-746-6086 steve martin, sure steve martin with the heaviest middle eastern accent ever. My mother was so concerned glad she didnt answer and give them anything

Same caller "Steve Martin" not funny.  Same scam  hard to understand.   called 5 times in one day.  I don't have
caller ID  so I couldnt see the number.  Do not call the number .  I am sure it is a scam of some kind.

Same here. He didn't even ask for my name.  Called three times in a row.  Very irritating.   He said he was from the Us Treasury Department.  That's not a real name. We have U.S. Department of the Treasury.

I got 2 calls from this number. Claimed he was from u s treasury for criminal enforcement . I did not call back because I figured out it was a scam. I knew this because I attended a seminar with a speaker who is a Tax Audit Manager of IRS based in San Jose, California . He said this scam had victimized a lot of people and scammers used the name of IRS to threaten the victim. He said, the IRS will not call you if you have questionable tax issue. Instead, they will send you a letter at your address on their file.
