Word for word. I had the same message on my answering machine. I'm in PA and I have a Chase credit card. Chase was definitely hacked. The name of the caller I thought sounded like Steve Martin. I called back and got Theona Collins on the line. She informed me that letters had been mailed regarding a Federal Warrant and that if I hadn't seen them it was no excuse and therefore my fault that the warrant had been issued. I asked what organization she was representing and she replied Dept. of the Treasury. I asked what the warrant was for and she replied a Federal Criminal Offence related to Federal Taxes and then hung up. Caller ID had given her my last name and phone number but she did not call back after we were disconnected so I guess the offense wasn't too offensive. No one showed up with a warrant either. I will be reporting this call officially because I think it can be very unnerving to folks who don't know any better and become needlessly frightened by the threats. BTW My Steve Martin also said "Thanks!" at his close. Nice guy that Steve.

Just got the same message here in Eastern PA. Recording, not a person. That Steve Martin is one wild and crazy guy if he thinks I'm falling for this.

Got this phone call at 8:am this morning.

Same thing!  Recorded message when I answered the phone!  SCAM!

Two calls back to back, working on blocking the number.  Same jive message with a really bad accent, threatening vague Federal issues.  Not funny, agree is targeted at phishing or pretexting and would be possible to hoodwink elderly or non-savvy folks.

Just got this call with same message from Steve Martin about 1 hour apart. Im in VA. Blocked this number but will be checking my Chase card.

Just got this call from Steve Martin 2 seconds ago  2nd Call from him.  In PA and with Chase as well!!  He doesn't sound like a Steve!!

Got the same call twice this morning.  It rang the second time as my SO and I were sitting here having coffee.  We both laughed at the caller ID, then again at the message.  But I know what we find funny, someone else might easily fall for, especially if they don't have caller ID telling them that "Lucasfilm" is calling them!  I filed and FCC complaint, it was quick and easy.  

Yep... 2 messages... recording actually from same guy, 'Steve Martin'... hilarious!
Anything official will contact you by certified mail... not a phone call.
Never give any personal info out over the phone unless you initiate call to reputable entity.

And if you stayed on the line it was just a loop of the message over and over again

I just reported him to the federal trade commission and the state attorneys office and phone busters.

I got this guy's call yesterday in PA, left same massage. Fraud.

Someone called me today in VA leaving this number. Steve (or Dean?) Martin with an Asian or some other kind of accent on a repeating loop saying the US Treasury was after me regarding a Federal Criminal Offense, blah blah. Imploring me to "call back and let us help you." Sounded bogus. My husband was perturbed wondering if we were late on our tax filing. (No.)

I don't have any business with Chase Bank, so I think it's not related to that -- just random.

I am in PA and also got a message left about 1:09 EST from 626-692-8480 from Dean Martin.  Indian accent, claiming to be Treasury Department.  Threatened serious charges, if I didn't call something about federal magistrate avoidance.  "Let us help you help yourself", call back immediately.  I reversed the phone on whitepages and it is a 'Ymax oration' landline. Googled that and this number and saw scam, scam, scam, just as I thought. I am reporting them!  They are just trying to extort money from people.  Shameful scam!

I am glad this is a scam!  It sounded like one; but, I needed to make sure.  I live in VA as well; I do not have a Chase account either.  

The number he left me to call is: 619-752-8641.  I called it back three times and it was busy each time.  

Keep spreading the word because if it scared me enough to start google/forum searching it, I can only imagine how other people will react to it!

3 Robocalls in two hours!!  10/13/2014   Obvious scam.  This going on for days from others posts.  I reported to FTC also.   Same message and is repeated:  "Hi, this message is intended to contact you.  My name is ____ Martin I calling regarding unfortunate actions executed by US Treasury. My number is 415-746-6754. Ignoring this will be intentional second attempt to avoid and initial appearance before a magistrate judge or a grand jury for a federal criminal offense.  I advise you to cooperate with us and help us to help you"
