If you pick up an actual guy tries to sell you a vacation package.  I hate getting phone calls on my cell phone at work!  Our elected representatives need to really crack down hard on these telemarketers.  It's easy.  Have a single opt-in database of phone numbers of every person who wants to give their phone number and who agrees to be called.  If your number isn't in that database, a telemarketer can't call it.  Conversely, there should be a list of telemarketers and their phone numbers that have been registered and verified (so authorities can go after them if there are abuses).  Have it set that your phone only receives numbers on that registered list (of course only if you've opted-in to receive such numbers in the first place) or from a number already found in your Contacts.  Boom.

Got 3 calls from this number in a 10 minute span.  Didn't answer, no message left.

Called many times answered no answer never left a vm

Male telemarketer trying to sell a vacation package with the beginning hook " you have just won a free, all expense paid vacation page...."

"Hello, can you hear me?   I am calling from the customer service department..."  yada. yada. yada.  "vacation package".
Some recorded message...

Called and did not leave a message.  Believed it to be a telemarketer.

Telemarketer. Something about being pre-selected for vacation package.

Got phone, no message leave. Block this number.

Left voice mail said they were from the IRS is was a recorded voice and sounded like some weird lady talking.

Got the same call saying it was the irs

Rejected the call. A message was left in my voice mail that sounded like a cross between an automated voice message and a creepy old woman. Her voice was in poor quality and hard to understand.

Two calls in the space of a minute. I didn't answer, they left no message.
